Chapter 68

Maura's POV

Me and hayes went to the beach together and the and we finished swimming and went to the board walk.

"Crap I left my water down there and I'm thirsty I'll be right back" Hayes said

He ran down to the beach and I stood there waiting.

I saw 2 guys with their holds up come walking towards me but it is dark out so I can't really make out a description of them.

I started backing up and one guy ran towards me and covered my mouth with his hand.

I started panicking.

I bit his hand and then screamed "HAYES!"

Hayes came running towards us when the guy pulled out a Gun and pointed it towards my head.

The other guy pointed a gun at Hayes.

"Whatever you want money, our clothes, our phones, anything I will give it to you just please let her go" Hayes said

"No I don't want anything but take one more step and I will shoot you" the guy said

"Please I'm begging you just let her go" Hayes said

I heard sirens blaring and I heard a loud bang then I was released and the guys both ran.

I went to run to Hayes when I realized that he was shot.

He was laying on the ground, he was shot in the stomach.

I applied pressure to it, as much as I could.

"Stay with me Hayes" I said

My shirt and my hands and arms were covered in blood.

Hayes closed his eyes.

The ambulance came and they took Hayes and I rode in the back I held his hand the whole way.

We got to the hospital and they stopped me at the door.

"No that's my brother I have to go with him" I said not letting go of Hayes hand

The nurse pulled me off of Hayes and shut the door.

I called Nash.

M-maura

N-yello
M-nash help Hayes was shot in at the hospital I'm scared nash
N-WHAT!! IM ON MY WAY MAR
M-ok bye

I hung up and just sat against that door crying.

"You've gotta move now" a doctor said ignorantly to me.

I felt someone pick me up roughly.

"STOP! GIVE ME HER!" Matt yelled

The doctor handed me to matt who gently held me.

"You've gotta tell nash everything mar" matt said

He just hugged me and i cried into his chest

I got up and wiped my tears and I was sick of my hair so I put it in a messy bun.

I walked over to nash who was crying and cameron was patting his back.

"Nash" I said

"Yeah" he said and looked up and me with red puffy eyes.

"Oh my gosh look at you. Come here" Nash said and got up and hugged me.

"It was in the stomach, he was trying to save me." I said

"It's okay, Hayes will be okay, he's strong" Nash said

"Nash I love you" I said

"I love you too maura" Nash said and we just hugged and cried

"Hayes grier" a doctor said

Me, nash, and cameron went over to him.

"I don't know how to say this but the bullet spread from his stomach and got to all of his organs and he didn't make it, I'm so sorry and you have my condolences" the doctor said

I fell into nash I just burried my face into his stomach and cried, I wrapped my arms around his.

Nash stalled his arms around me and cried too, cameron wrapped his arms around both of us.

I woke up panting and sweating and crying.

"Maura what's wrong" Hayes said and he sat up.

"You died" I said

"No no no. I'm right here, I'm not going anywhere" Hayes said and hugged me.

"I'm gonna be right by your side any time your turn around, I'm here" Hayes said

"What time is it?" I asked

Hayes looked at his phone

"10" he said

"Im getting up" I said

I went downstairs and saw cameron pacing back and fourth.

"Where is everyone?" I asked

"All of the guys went home for a week and nash should've been home an hour ago" cameron said

"It's not like him to be late" I said

"Yeah I know and he isn't answering his phone" cameron said

"I'm gonna go look for him. Love you" cam said and kissed my forehead then left.

Me and Hayes literally did nothing all day other then lay on the couch and watch movies and eat and take naps.

Cameron came in at 11 at night looking exhausted.

"Did you find nash?" I asked

Cameron sat down.

"Listen, I'm never going to leave you guys. I'm here for you. Nash is missing right now, they think he was kidnapped. His car was found in a parking lot but he's not there and they have video survaliance of him being put into a white van but that also means that we have the license plate number" Cameron said

Hayes got up and went to his too and slammed the door.

I just sat there in shock.

Cameron came and sat next to me and I laid my head on his chest and he wrapped his arms around me and I cried into his chest.

"Im here for you. I'm never going to leave you no matter what" Cameron said

I heard the door open.

I went to get up but cameron pulled me back down.

"It's okay, it's just the guys" Cameron said

"I can't talk to Hayes right now be-" I started to Say but cameron cut me off, "it's okay you don't need a reason, just relax"

Cameron got up but someone sat there right away.

"Just like cameron, I'm never going to leave your side and none of us other guys will either" jack g said

I can't even talk right now.

I got up and went upstairs to my bed room.

I laid in my bed and just started at the Ceiling.

I turned on my side and saw all of my pictures on the wall.

I really like the one of me on Nashs shoulders in Disney and then the one of my and nash sassing Hayes.

I started balling my eyes out.

"NO NASH! COME HOME PLEASE I NEED YOU YOUR ALL I NEED!" I started screaming and I'm balling my eyes and I'm standing and kicking and punching things now.

My door barged open and it was cameron.

He came and wrapped his arms around me really tight.

I kept trying to kick and punch.

"Shhhhh" cam said and was hugging me really tight.

I called down and just melted in Camerons arms crying.

I laid down and cameron laid with me and hugged me and I eventually fell asleep.
