Chapter 74

Maura's POV

"Maura wake up, you've gotta get ready" Cameron said as he shook me.

I got up and went upstairs and took a shower then got changed into jean shorts and a tank top and my hair straight down.

I put on mascara and went downstairs.

Nash and Hayes and Cameron were waiting for me so when I got down there we left.

Carton say up front and I sat in the back with Hayes and Nash drove.

"Stop" Hayes said

"What" Nash said

"Maura stop" Hayes said

"Stop what" I said

"Stop biting your nails and taping your foot, it's gonna be ok" Hayes said

"I'm nervous, I can't look at him the same" I said

Hayes eyes started watering a little bit.

He just hugged me.

"I'm done crying, I cry way too much and I hate crying. I'm not gonna cry today" I said

"It's good for you to cry" Cameron said

"Always let it out, don't hold it in" Nash said

We pulled up and parked.

"We have to go in and sign him out" Nash said

I walked in between Hayes an Cameron and held both of their hands.

Right before we went inside I started backing up.

"No." I said

I let go of their hands and kept backing up.

Cameron just wrapped his arms around my shoulders.

"It's ok kid, come on" Cameron said

"He's gonna hurt me again" I said

"I won't let it happen" Cameron said

I held Cameron's hand again and walked behind him and we went in.

I saw him and just hid behind cam.

Cameron have me a reassuring squeeze.

My dad said hi to everyone and I was just there hiding behind Cameron.

"Hi Maura" he said

"Hi" I said but didn't take my head out of Cameron's back.

"I'm still your dad, I changed" he said

I just didn't answer, I feel so uncomfortable.

We all got in the car and Hayes say up front so I sat at the window seat and Cameron sat right up against me and my dad sat on the other side of Cameron.

The car ride was silent.

We pulled up to our house.

"Dad you have to leave at 5:30" Nash said

"I'm your dad, your just gonna kick me out?" Dad said

"I have to" Nash said

We walked inside and all of the guys are hole right now. I wish they were here because I'm scared.

I went upstairs in my room and Cameron came with me.

"I'm gonna call Will" I said

m-dads here
W-in the house?
M-yeah
W-he's by aloud though he should be in jail
M-he got out early
W-I'll be there soon, stay with one of the guys
M-I'm with cam

Will hung up and me and Cameron laid down and watched Freud autonomy.

"Knock knock" my dad said and knocked on the door.

Me and Cameron went out of the room.

"Can I get a hug at least from daddy's little girl" dad said

"I'm not your girl and no. This is the most you'll ever get from me. Your no dad" I said

"Excuse me?" He said

"You heard her" Cameron said

"You raped your own daughter and you beat me" I said

"Just leave please. I don't wanna talk to you" I said

He just looked at me and walked downstairs.

"I can't hold it in anymore" I said while holding my hands on my hips pacing.

"Let it out" Cameron said and wrapped his arms around me.

I cried so hard me and Cameron ended up sitting on the ground as I cried and screamed into his chest.

"I'm hungry" I said

Me and Cameron went downstairs and ate everything in the kitchen.

"Dad left" Nash said

"Come here" he said and opened his arms.

I walked into his arms and he just hugged me.

"I love you" he said

"I love you too" I said

"Nash" I said

"Yeah?" He said

"I miss mommy" I said

"Me too baby girl" he said and just kissed the top of my head.

"I'm gonna go to bed" I said

"Goodnight" he said

I went up to bed and Cameron said he would sleep on the floor but I said it's fine Hayes is already asleep in my bed.

I got changed into pajamas and put my hair in a bun and laid next to Hayes who was sleeping and fell asleep.

I woke up and looked at my phone "3:32am"

I couldn't fall back asleep.

I got up and went downstairs.

I'm crying. I just miss my mom and how things used to be.

I stood in the kitchen crying.

I heard the door open, is it my dad?

"NASH!!" I screamed

"Shhhh" the person said then the light turned on and I could se sit was will.

"Will" I said and ran to him and he just hugged me.

"Why are you up" he asked

"I couldn't sleep" I said

"Why are you crying" he asked

"I miss mom and you" I said

"I'm here" he said

"WHAT?!" Nash yelled running downstairs with a bat.

"Oh ok bye" Nash said and went back upstairs once he saw will.

Will picked me up and we got in my big bed with Hayes and fell asleep.
