maura's POV

I woke up to Nash shaking me, "Maura, wake up. you have school"

"nash please dont make me go without hayes" i said

"your going" he said

i got out of bed and stomped to the bathroom and took a shower, then when i got out i put on high rise shorts and a white vneck with black converse and i straightned my hair then did my makeup.

i grabbed my school bag and was leaving, "bye" nash said, i just walked out the door and slammed it behind me.

I walked to the bus stop and no one else is at my bus stop, just me.

the bus pulled up and i got on and sat in the front and put my headphones in.

i got a text from cameron, "i tried so hard but it didnt work, sorry. but push everything aside and have a good day today today little bug"

"thanks cam" i said back then i got a text from matt 

"have fun at school munchkin, im still in my nice warm bed" he said

"ihy" i said back

"no you love me" he said

"eh" i said back and then got a text from JJ

"Have fun at school, from me and jack" he said

"thanks jacks" i said back

We pulled up to school and i got super nervous, everyone was with their friends and i was alone.

"i hope your having fun at school, im doing a lot better, its almost completey goe mar. love you" hayes texted me

"thanks and good and i love you too" i said

I went to my locker and put everything in there and the kid whos locker was next to mine on the side hayes wasnt was pretty cute.

"hi, im nick" he said

"hey, im maura" i said

"are you new here?" he asked

"yeah" i said

"you look familiar" he said

"when my brother is better and hes here, youll realize why" i said

"your hayes griers twin sister" a girl came up to me and said

"yeah" i said

"oh thats what it is" nick said

"i know that its gotta be hard being new, ill be here if you need me" he said then handed me a slip of paper with his number on it

"thank you" i said

I went to homeroom and i have that with nick, he seems really nice.

Some girl came and sat next to me, "your hayes grier sister, you better stay away from all of those guys or i will hurt you" she said

i just laughed.

"im not joking" she said

The day flew by and i have 3 classes with nick and hes super nice.

I got home and im still not talking to nash because other than nash everyone was super rude to me telling me to stay away from my own brothers and their friends or guys telling me that i have a nice body and some kid even grabbed my ass, i hate this school already.

all of the girls were calling me names and being mean, one even pushed me and i fell, so im basically being bullied.

i walked in and nash was watching tv.

"hey how was it?" he asked

i just walked past him and into the kitchen to get water.

I drank water and ate a snack ad then i walked past nash and left.

I texted cameron, "not talking to nash, left the house i am going to hayes" i said

I walked for a while and i got to the hospital and walked in and went to hayes' room and it was just him and will in there.

"how was school?" hayes asked

"i dont wanna talk about it" i said

"whats that on your leg?" will asked

i looked down and i had a bruise, it must be from when i was pushed today in school.

i just ignored him.

"i am getting tested tomorrow, the cancer might all be gone" hayes said

"are you serious?" i asked

"yeah and everything is back to normal, my thinking and my walking and everything, im not in pain anymore" he said

i gave  him a big hug.

"im gonna go get food" will said then left.

"now tell me about school" hayes said

"it was fine" i said

"maura, tell me now" hayes said

"all of the girls are just telling me to stay away from yous.." i said

"i know you just laugh when girls say that so what else happened?" hayes said

"hayes its nothing" i said and started to get upset just by the names they called me, fat, ugly, slut, nasty, short and stuby, and so much more.

"maura your about to cry tell me right now" he said

"fine, they bully me hayes, names that hurt a girl and i was pushed and thats why my leg is bruised and i hate it. ive only met one nice person" i said

"come here" hayes said then hugged me, "stop crying" he said

"what they called me just is really getting to me" i said

Will walked in and i wiped my tears, "here mar, i got you the dorito taco" will said

"your a babe, im not mad at you anymore" i said

"a babe?" he asked

"yeah if you do something good for me ill tell you that your a babe" i said

"maura your a dork" will said

"will stop that rude" hayes said

hes not gonna let anyone say anything mean to me anymore

"hayes i dont mean like that, i mean ugly, fat, slut, short, in the way of your life" i said

"what are you talking about" will asked

"nothing" i said

i stayed at the hospital with hayes for a while and if he passes the test tomorrow then he gets to come home and go back to his normal life.

when i got home nash wasnt there, i took a shower then put on my pajamas and went to bed.
