Chapter 9

Maura's POV

I was hooking up with Kyle when I heard Hayes.

"maura is that you?" he said

shit.

Kyle pulled away and walked away.

"Hayes did you hook up with a girl tonight?" I asked

"yeah" he said

"then I can hook up too" I said

"no it's different" he said

"how?" I asked

"I'm older" he said

"by 2 minutes Hayes" I said

"grace these people are dicks and you don't even know them" he said

"wait how is Kyle here then?" I asked

"this is his vacation house" Hayes said

Hayes kept bitching at me so I drank more then left.

Hayes was chasing me as I was running and then threw up.

Hayes barley seems like he was drinking anymore but I'm throwing up.

"fuck" Hayes said then finished and started falling but Hayes picked me up and put me on his back.

He walked into the house.

"hey guys!" I said

"how was your party?" Nash asked

"good!" I said

"ha Hayes your hair tickles my head" I said

"she must've been sleeping" taylor said then laughed.

I jumped off of Hayes back and went into the bathroom and threw up.

Cameron came in and rubbed my back and held my hair back.

"so what did you do at that party?" cam asked

"we'll you see I was kissing a kid and Hayes flipped when he kisses girls so why can't I kiss then he's like your younger, BY 2 MINUTES HAYES!" I said

"maura it smells like you were drinking" cam said

"I would die if I didn't drink, you need fluid" I said

"I mean alcohol" he said

"ew, no" I said and went upstairs.

I checked my phone as my couch said he game is moved to tomorrow.

I'm going and that's that.

I went to sleep then woke up took a long shower and got Changed into sweat pants and a tanktop.

I went downstairs and saw all the guys in the living room.

"my head really hurts" I said and laid my head on Nashs lap and spawned out across the whole couch.

"the doctor said if it really hurts that you need to sleep." Nash said

"okay we'll good night then" I said and went up to bed.

My plan is working so far, I put pillows in shape of a body and covered it with blankets.

I put on my soccer uniform and snuck out by the balcony in cams room that has steps.

I walked to the field because it's a he game.

once I got there all of the girls were warming up.

I warmed up with them and my coach put me on offence and we stared.

I was dribbling the ball on a breakaway when a defender tripped me from behind, I flew.

I landed on my arm and I could hear it snap, I was crying and realised I have to get up, im not even supposed to be here.

I got up and dismissed the game in pain.

I scored 3 times and the final score was 4-2 my team won.

I walked home crying because my arm is killing me and it's really swollen and bruised.

I snuck up cams balcony and luckily they weren't in there.

I snuck I or my room and got changed real quick.

I wiped my tears and went downstairs.

I grabbed Hayes with my left arm (my good arm) and pulled him upstairs.

"what's wrong?" he asked

"I went to soccer, and I think I broke my arm" I said and pulled it up so he could see it.

"holy shit" he said

"tell Nash you rolled out of bed and landed on it" Hayes said then made a loud thump and I laid on the ground and cried and Nash and all te guys came running up.

"what happened?" he asked

"I f-fell out of b-bed on my a-arm" I said

He came over and looked at my arm.

"it's defiantly broke" he said

"no" I said

"get in the car" he said

Hayes walked with me and we got in the car and then Nash and Cam got in and we drove to the ER.

I got x rays and sure enough it was broke.

I got a bright pin cast and we drove home.

"those pillows really fooled me today" Nash said

"huh?" I said

"I'm not stupid but your lucky I'm a nice brother, I knew how much that game meant to you and the concussion is small" Nash said

"I love you" I said and laughed

"I scored 3 times and we won" I said

"good job, did you hurt your arm in the begging and keep playing?" cam asked

"yeah" I said

"that was a good cover though" cam said

"creds to Hayes" i said

We got home and I laid in bed and couldn't sleep.

I got up and went into Hayes room.

"Hayes?" I said

he's a light sleeper unlike me.

"can't sleep?" he said in a sleepy voice.

"yeah" I said

"come on get in" he said and lifted his blanket up.

I laid next to him and eventually fell asleep.
