Sleeping on the Venice beach's golden sand was all I could think when my high school finally announced a summer break. I got up from where I was seated and went ahead to my locker along with the rest of the kids. On the way my best friend, Katelyn, joined me and together,hand in hand, we left the school for a month.
I went home to find my dad talking to my mothers law regarding her will,which stated that everything will be put under my mum once i turn 18. I ignored them and went to my room and got ready to go to the beach. I left my house to see katelytn already in the parking lot waiting for me.
"Hi, Kate! How long have you been waiting for me?" I asked her. "Around fifteen minutes and I called to three times but you didnt answer", she answered back. The rest of the trip was boring with Kate going on about how many guys keep asking her out but she rejects them. I pull out my sunglasses and pretend to listen to her blabber.
When we reached the beach Kately went to "The Lagoon"'s paking area and parked her car there. This was a five-star luxury hotel owned my her parents. We got down and went inside to get ready to hit the waves.
