A Pirates Call

Chapter Four

Lindy's POV

I held the letter in my hand very tightly when I was getting on board the ship. I looked at Jack but he was at ease. He didn't even flinch when a voice greeted us as we arrived at the ship. On the deck stood a man with a pirates hat, but other than that he seemed like a normal person. He even talked like a human.

He turned as we arrived and Jack cleared his throat, loud enough for me to hear. "I have bought Lindy here, Captain Jim". He then went and stood next to a red haired girl who hugged him when he came near. Captain Jim turned around. I was startled. There stood my mother's brother, my uncle Uncle Jimmy Frank. 

He came towards me and hugged me tight and wouldn't let go. He then pulled back for months and looked at me. "Oh my! You look just like your mother. Except for those brown eyes. They are obviously your fathers." I just nodded.

"Crew! This is my niece, Lindy and Lindy this is my crew. You already know Jack. Beside him is Natalie. Crew, I will now take Lindy to my room to discuss a few things. As you can see, she is clueless about this. Jack please accompany us."

Jack immediately came to Uncle Jims side and followed him. I walked behind him getting a few welcomes from the rest of the crew. We came to a halt near a wooden door. Uncle Jim opened it and motioned me and Jack to come inside. 

He pulled two chairs and asked us to settle ourselves. Then he became serious. 

"Lindy, I know this is a lot to take in but you must know that your mother and I are pirates. We are pirates my blood but your grandmother became one when she got married to your grandpa. I instantly knew that you were one from the time you were born. Whenever we took you to the beach you would just stare at the horizon. Your mother and I immediately knew that you saw the ship."

He took a big breathe and then started to become not very serious.

"More on that later. Tonight we will have a ball to celebrate your presence. Jack will show you your room and you will find a dress there, wear it. Also your other clothes have been brought here.." He held up a hand to stop me from speaking "Lindy I told more questions tommorrow. Now you two may go."  

Jack, then took me to my room and showed me around. This ship looked ancient on the outside but inside it was a big mansion. A luxurious one. It even came with free Wi-Fi. My room was amazing. The walls were painted blue just like Jacks eyes. The tiles were of different shades of blue. There was a big closet and a dressing table.

I just looked at it in wonder. Ionly noticed that Jack was in the room when he cleared his throat for my attention.

"It is only 9 now. You may have a rest and Ill pick you up at six in the evening. Be ready." I nodded and he left. Only then I saw a broght pink dress and a blue one. There was a card on it that read "I didn't know which you will like so I bought both. Choose and wear. Love, Your uncle Jim." 

Then after clearing the place up I fell into a deep sleep.
