(Requested by my good friend -JOONIESVERSE. This was an interesting idea and I'm glad to make it.)

Y/N Age: 1 Month old

Ariana POV:

"Good night Alex, sweet dreams." I said, hugging my son.

"You too Mom." He said before hugging Dalton and walking upstairs to his room.

I watched him go and snuggled back into my husband's side, intertwining our hands. We sat in a comfortable silence while we watched our movie. As I threw some popcorn into my mouth a small knock came at the front door. I sighed and stood up, stretching my arms, and made my way over to the door. I opened it just to reveal an empty porch, that was until I looked down.

A small basket stood at my feet, containing a small human wrapped in a soft white blanket with a note attached to it. I glanced around to see no one nearby and squatted down to the basket. I peered at the baby's face and awed, smiling at it.

It had a small button nose with chocolate brown hair that sat on its head like a cloud. It's hands were small and soft, as it latched onto my finger when I reached out to it. I looked around once more before picking the basket up and carrying the baby inside. I set it on the counter and waved Dalton over.

"What is that?" He asked, walking over to me.

"A baby, someone left it." I replied, picking it up from the basket.

I watched as it curled up in my arms, probably enjoying my warmth. Dalton plucked the letter from the blanket and peeled it open. I rocked the baby back in forth, watching it slowly relax.

"Hello,

My name is Laura Davis. I have placed my baby on your doorstep because I am unable to care for her. Don't contact me, I don't want to burden my child with my problems. Please raise her and treat her like your own, she deserves it. Her name is Y/N; I beg for you to love and care for her.

Thank You."

I felt a tear slid down my face. This poor baby, left on a doorstep because her parent didn't want her.

"Poor thing." I said, caressing her face with the back of my hand.

"So, want me to call and orphanage?" Dalton asked.

I thought for a second, gazing at the baby. She seemed so small and fragile, yet she fit well in my arms. Alex had just turned 17 and I wasn't planning on having any more kids, yet I felt the need to keep her, like it was my duty. My motherly instinct kicked in and I knew my answer.

"No."

"What?" He questioned, raising his eyebrow at me.

"I want to keep her, I have to."

"Ariana I do-"

"Dalton, we have to. The letter says to do so, and she just seems to weak and lonely to be dropped at an orphanage."

He looked at me with worry, but sighed at my stern eyes.

"Fine, but it's gonna be a hassle to raise her." He replied, grabbing the small blanket and swaddling her.

I smiled and took her from his arms, smiling down at her as she stretched in my grasp. I rocked her back and forth and made my way into the kitchen to get her some milk. I had a baby bottle in the fridge as Vic would bring Hazel over when she would visit. I grabbed the bottle and placed it in the microwave to heat it up. As soon as it beeped I opened it and took the warm milk out. I looked down at Y/N and coaxed the nipple into her mouth, which she gladly accepted and started to suckle on quietly.

I let her feed and walked back to the couch where Dalton sat. I cuddled up to his side and watched the baby, our baby, start to fall asleep.

"Thank you babe." I said, rubbing Y/N's small back.

"For what?" He questioned, also gazing at the baby.

"For giving me, us, a second chance."
