(THIS BOOK IS ALIVEEEEEEE AHHHHHHH)

Y/N Age: 14

Ariana POV:

I jumped as the front door was shoved open, breaking the comfortable silence.

Y/N appeared around the corner and I immediately knew something was wrong. She had tears streaming down her face and she definitely looked pissed off. But before I could do anything she ran upstairs and the loud slam of her bedroom door indicated where she went.

I sighed and stood up from our couch to go see what was wrong. I walked up the wooden stairs and made my way to her door, which I found to be locked.

"Baby? It's me, I just wanna check up on you." I called, knocking on the wood.

I didn't get a response, just more sobbing.

"Y/N please, open the door honey." I pleaded, tapping my nails on the door in a familiar rhythm.

I heard shuffling and the door was opened to reveal my crying daughter. She instantly ran into my arms and buried her face into my shoulder.

"Oh Y/N." I cooed, rubbing her back.

I walked her backwards and sat down on her bed, letting her sit on my lap and cry. I patiently waited for her to calm down while I held her close, trying to give her comfort.

After a few minutes she stopped and snuggled into me, tucking her face into my neck.

"Baby, what happened?" I questioned, kissing her cheek.

"Stupid kids at stupid school." She mumbled, fiddling with my shirt.

"Did someone say something to you?"

"Yeah, you could say that."

I raised an eyebrow, feeling confused.

"What did they say."

Y/N sat up and met my eyes with her Heterochromia blue and brown eyes.

"She called me a two eyed freak." She stated.

"A what? Two eyed freak? Who called you that?"

"Lina did, she has been bullying me ever since we moved to LA."

I sighed and hugged her tightly, wrapping my arms around her waist.

"I'm sorry that this is happening to you, but teenage girls will be teenage girls. They judge you to the point of death." I said, fixing her hoodie that had ridden up on her back.

"I just wish that I was normal." Y/N muttered sadly.

"You are! Fuck normal you are unique and cool."

She smiled and let her forehead drop to my shoulder.

"My kid is a fucking badass chick who doesn't give two shits to what people say to her." I said proudly, kissing her temple.

She laughed at that and wrapped her own arms around my neck.

"But she is still very ticklish." I whispered.

Her eyes when wide and before she could do anything I ran my rings up and down her sides. She squealed and tried to push me away with no success.

I smiled as she squirmed and laughed, happy to see her beautiful smile. Eventually I stopped and hugged her close to my body, leaning back on her bed.

"My gorgeous baby." I purred, brushing her hair with my nails.

Sometimes you will come across people who look different from the world that you call normal. But that doesn't mean that you bully them for it, they can't help how they look.
