A/N: Hiii Kiko here, wow chapter 4 already, well this chapter delves into KÍli and (Y/N)'s relationship, also her past in Paradis.
"Are you ready to see Annie (Y/N)?" Armin asked (Y/N). As the two made their way underground all the way to where Annie's Crystal is being kept.
"I think so" (Y/N) said. The tunnel which Armin and (Y/N) walked through twisted and turned father into the ground. "Hey Armin do you think that your liking of Annie is because of having Bertholdt's memories?" (Y/N) asked Armin.
"Maybe it is because of Bertholdt's memories, but if I like Annie because of Bertholdt, do you want to protect Historia because of Ymir?" Armin asked and answered a question all at the same time.
"No I don't think Ymir's memories affect me protecting Historia, I think it has something to do with her being my sister" "I've always wanted to protect her, even when she didn't know I was her sister, in the beginning of our lives, when I knew she was my sister" (Y/N) said answering Armin's question about the memories passed from titan shifter to titan shifter. Armin had the colossal titan and (Y/N), well she had the jaw, which she got from Ymir. Armin got his titan from Bertholdt, the colossal titan largest of the nine. It stood at 60 meters tall. When the standard titan size was only 6-10 meters in height. Hence the name colossal.
To get a titan you had to eat the person who possessed one of the nine titans while in a normal titan from the fluid the scouts found with (Y/N)'s father Rod Reiss. Which turned out to be Zeke Yeager's spinal fluid.
The nine titans were: The Armored, Attack, Beast, Cart, Colossal, Female, Founding, Jaw and The Warhammer Titan. The Armored belonged to Reiner, Colossal to Bertholdt then to Armin. Eren had both the attack and founding titans and Zeke had the Beast. The cart's holder was unknown. Annie had the female titan, (Y/N) possessed the Jaw titan and the Warhammer titan was also unknown.
Being a titan shifter was a hard burden to bear, once you gain one of the nine titans you only have 13 years left in your lifespan, Armin also had another burden, his titan the colossal is the largest, if he was to transform in a town or enclosed space then he will kill everyone.
(Y/N) and Armin came upon a door at the end of a corridor. Armin then produced a brass key from his pocket and then unlocked the door. He pushed the door open and in the center of the room stood Annie's Crystal.
"Hey Armin here for your weekly visit. Remember no touching the crystal" A voice said and then stopped when it saw (Y/N). A girl with a bobbed haircut came into view.
"(Y/N)" the girl said.
"Hey Hitch, long time no see" (Y/N) said and gave a wave to the girl, who had a rifle slung over her shoulder. She wore a Military Police uniform and had short hair which only reached her chin.
"So (Y/N) how's the adventure?" Hitch asked (Y/N).
"Quite well I've gone Under Hill and Over Hill, in my travels, alongside The Company of Thorin Oakenshield." (Y/N) said as she thought about where The Company had gone and where the journey was to end eventually.
The company had been a little Rocky in the beginning. (Y/N) just stuck to talking to FÍli and KÍli back then, also Bilbo the hobbit, who was just as uneducated about dwarves as (Y/N) was. But with the trolls. (Y/N) and Bilbo saved The company's asses from being cooked and eaten alive by them. The trolls disgusted (Y/N), those vermin were so similar to the titans (Y/N) had to kill with her blades and the help of her ODM, Which propelled the scouts through the air to allow them to slice a titans' nape. Thus ending it's poor miserable life quickly. But The Trolls had more brains than titans did.
Many of the cadets (Y/N) had trained with had died because of titans in the battle for Trost District. Which was when Eren had found out he was a titan shifter.
(Y/N) had yelled that if eaten the dwarves tasted like shoes, except The Trolls had no idea what shoes were. So the statement was lost in Bilbo saying that they had bugs and other parasites. (Y/N) joined in on distracting The Trolls until Gandalf came and saved their skins. (Y/N) had been the one to untie KÍli after The Trolls had been turned to stone by the sun.
At night sometimes KÍli would place his bed roll next to (Y/N)'s at night just so he could talk to her before they went to sleep. More than once The Company had found (Y/N) and KÍli holding each other because one of them had rolled in their sleep. Those mornings were always a little awkward but the two of them would get over it quickly. Or at least (Y/N) did, KÍli however did not, he liked (Y/N) ever since they met a couple of months before the quest to reclaim Erebor started. KÍli kept every morning and memory engraved into his brain. From the way that she smelt, to the way she fit perfectly into his arms.
(Y/N) liked KÍli back but she decided early on that she needed to focus on the quest, not her growing romantic feelings for the young dwarven prince, whom she calls a close friend. She also was still not yet over Reiner being a traitor to Paradis, So she did not think romance was for her to focus on, while she also still loved Reiner to an extent. When he first came out as the armored titan, he tried to convince (Y/N) to join him. But she couldn't leave the scouts for him. Yes, she loved Reiner, but the scouts were her family through and through.
Back to the present
(Y/N) talked with Hitch and Armin for a little bit. Then she walked up to Annie who was encased in the blue shimmering crystal. Annie looked beautiful stuck inside the crystal.
"Hey Annie, I don't really know if you can hear me but I kinda miss the way you used to beat our asses in cadets and how you were always the most calm, despite missing you. I'm mad at you for betraying our trust the way you did" (Y/N) said to Annie's peaceful face. Then stepped away from the crystal. "Can we go soon" (Y/N) asked Armin and he replied that he wanted to see her first. (Y/N) nodded and said that she would wait outside the cavern until he was done. It was only a few minutes she was waiting. Then the two of them left the way they came.
A/N: The next chapter is about FÍli and KÍli asking (Y/N) about Reiner and Bertholdt, next chapter will come out Wednesday the 30th of June to Saturday the 3rd of July
