A/N: This is a crossover with Demonslayer
"What is the box that you carry for?" KÍli asked, as (Y/N) kept the box with her at all times. Sometimes The Company could swear they heard her talk to the box at night. But there was never a reply to (Y/N)'s talking. But she would only talk when everyone else should've been asleep.
"This box is special to me, and it needs to be protected at all costs" (Y/N) told KÍli about her box. She didn't tell KÍli what or who was inside of the box which she carried on her back.
The Company continued on to Rivendell then the storm giants which led them to stay in a cave in the Misty Mountains. The entire company awoke to being dumped down into a cavern on a rope bridge. (Y/N) held the box to her chest as closely as possible as goblins came into view and surrounded the company. The goblins forced them along into the main cavern where a large goblin started to sing. After the great goblin finished his song the smaller goblins took all your weapons, took your katana off of you and pried the box out of your arms which fell to the ground and opened. A small girl crawled out. She had long black hair with orange ends and was wearing a pink kimono underneath her haori which reached just past her knees. She also had a bamboo muzzle overtop her mouth. A goblin came up close to grab her and she used one of her powerful kicks to squash it's head as she thought it was a demon. Like the kind Tanjiro and (Y/N) hunted previously. The little girl grew into a taller girl then went and stood beside (Y/N) growling at any goblins that tried to come close to her and (Y/N). (Y?N) also patted the girl on her head who in turn let out a small muffled purr through her muzzle.
"(Y/N) why is there a girl inside of your box?" KÍli asked as Gandalf came and told everyone to fight. (Y/N) grabbed her sword and pulled the box onto her back as they all ran from the goblins and fought to get out of goblin town.
"It's a long story I'll tell you once we get out of here" (Y/N) said as she chopped off a goblins head using her total concentration breathing. The little girl had also been fighting goblins and sticking close to (Y/N). As the group came upon the exit (Y/N) could see that dawn was coming.
"Get into the box Nezuko dawn is coming" (Y/N) yelled and the little girl now whose name is known to be Nezuko jumped and clamored into the box as (Y/N) knelt down to let Nezuko climb into the box.
They all ran out of the caves and down a hill to a plateau. Gandalf started to do a headcount. But one was missing Bilbo Baggins was missing from the group. Then he suddenly popped up saying about how he thought of home and wanted the dwarves to have one too. Then the orcs attacked and everyone had to go into the trees. Thorin went nackdown to fight Azog then the eagles came and everyone was brought to safety.
Gandalf heals Thorin so that he is as good as new. Everyone went on in their journey and then as the sun was setting made camp for the night.
"(Y/N) who is the girl inside of the boox, why have you hid her, no more secrets" Thorin said to you from across the fire.
"This is a long story, but you all need to know I suppose" (Y/N) said and opened the box letting Nezuko come out. After Nezuko came out of the box she sat in front of (Y/N) lying on (Y/N) so that her head was in (Y/N)'s lap. "Master Dwarfs and Master Baggins meet my little sister Nezuko"
"The girl is not human is she?" Gandalf said looking at Nezuko who was rolling the ground and having the time of her life on your lap.
"No, she is not human, she is a demon" (Y/N) said as Nezuko sat up and went over to (Y/N)'s bag pulling out a hairbrush. She handed it to (Y/N), (Y/N) took the hairbrush from Nezuko. Nezuko sat in front and (Y/N) started to brush Nezuko's hair.
"Is your sister able to be around us and not hurt anyone"
"Yeah, She might be wary at first but she won't hurt any of you, honestly she probably sees you all like family" (Y/N) said as she finished brushing Nezuko's hair.
"Why would she see us as family, we barely know her?" KÍli asked, watching Nezuko intently rub her head against (Y/N)'s legs.
"It's the way she is, if you aren't a demon, or orcs, or goblins then she will protect you, she thinks everyone is family unless someone hurts me then she will probably attack them" (Y/N) explained how Nezuko's mind worked. Nezuko got up from where she was in (Y/N)'s lap and walked over to Thorin and put her arms around his waist and just held Thorin. Whom she was taller than in fact she was taller than everyone except (Y/N). (Y/N) let out a giggle as Nezuko let go and then went shorter and rubbed her head all over the dwarf. Then she continued to do that with every dwarf only stopping at KÍli whom she just looked at and then wouldn't let go of. "Come on Nezuko you know that, that is bad manners." (Y/N) said and Nezuko looked at her but didn't move " KÍli sorry about Nezuko, she's like this sometimes" (Y/N) said and scratched the back of her head and still laughed at her sister's antics.
"It's fine (Y/N) Nezuko is totally adorable, So why did you bring her along?" KÍli asked and patted Nezuko's head.
"I brought Nezuko because there was nowhere to leave her, especially with Tanjiro gone, he used to be the one to take care of her, but a mission went wrong" (Y/N) said looking into the fire.
"Who is Tanjiro lass" Balin asked
"Tanjiro is-was my little brother, Nezuko was turned into a demon by Muzan Kibuisuji when our entire family was massacred except for Tanjiro and I, who were in town while that happened"
