That night, I didn't see the glowing green eyes like I usually did and I must admit that I felt somewhat disappointed that I didn't see them. I guess I was so used to having those curious green eyes watch over me whilst I slept, despite not knowing what it was looking through my window.

Although, since my encounter with the wolf, I had a gut feeling that it was him watching over me.

I welcomed my early Saturday start which is what made it stand out from every other Saturday morning. I flung myself out of bed and pulled open my curtains, letting a beam of early morning sunshine fill my room. I couldn't help myself as I peered out the window at the Blackwell's house.

Even now, at an early 7 am, the house was a bustle of activity. Through their kitchen window I could see Diane telling someone, presumably Jordan, off for one reason or another and of course there was Adrian, sulking around like someone spat in his milk. I continued to watch the family eat their breakfast, but I was snapped out of it when I saw Adrian quickly snap his head away from his food and look directly at me.

I stumbled backwards quickly, hoping that Adrian didn't see me and in the process, I fell on my butt onto the floor. God I was creepy, watching the Blackwell's like that! And here I was thinking that Adrian was a stalker after what happened with the wolf yesterday.

"I know, I'm such a gentleman"

How did he even know I said that to the wolf? He surely was listening in or he wouldn't have heard me say it.

I stood up and got changed into a pair of white lace shorts and a green tank top. I combed out my frizzy bedhead blonde hair and brushed my teeth, ignoring the fact that I hadn't had breakfast yet and I headed downstairs. I slipped on my cream flats, grabbed my phone and house keys and went outside.

About five miles into my walk, I began to regret not wearing a more comfortable pair of shoes as I felt a constant pain in my heels from walking. This is why I never walked into town. Living on the outskirts of town was a pain in the butt because I had to walk at least 10 miles to get into the town square, where all our stores and cafes were situated.

I knew this trip was necessary though which was why I was making it. The two reasons being that I had an early morning shift that started at nine at the only café in town which made it very busy which I suppose was a good thing as I never got bored.

The second reason being that I needed some new clothes as I was taking Leah's advice. These summer clothes weren't going to be of much use to me anymore and so I needed to get some winter clothes before the snow season comes around.

After finally reaching town, my heels were killing me and I was sweating. I checked my watch and I decided I better hurry to work seeing as I had about 10 minutes to get there and get changed.

After finishing my horrible shift at that god forsaken diner, I walked across the town plaza and strolled past the row of boutiques we had. The whole four clothing stores.
