Amelias POV

I groaned as I slowly opened my eyes, blinding white light filling my vision.

As I slowly became more aware of my surroundings, I noticed that I was in a large and spacious bedroom and immediately my blood turned cold.

I quickly sat up and I flung back the covers, letting out a sigh of relief at seeing all my clothes on, despite them being muddy and tattered.

I put my bare feet on the floor and put my head in my hands, trying to remember what happened last night.

As I sat there thinking, I didn't realise that someone was standing in the door way, with their arms folded across their chest somewhat defensively.

Adrian.

"Penny for your thoughts?" He said with a massive smirk on his face.

I felt a surge of anger as I glared at him, his defensive stance and smirk fueling my anger.

I looked to the bedside table and grabbed the first thing that came to mind which quite luckily happened to be an alarm clock.

I quickly grabbed it and threw it at him as hard as I could. Unfortunately he managed to catch it, so I looked around for another thing to throw at him.

"Amelia, listen, I can explain" he began seriously as he slowly stepped forward. He had his hands raised in surrender, and he looked somewhat nervous.

Good, I hope he was nervous because I'm not taking any prisoners today, or tonight...or whatever time of day it was and I picked up a lampshade.

"You can explain? What, try to explain why I'm in your bedroom? In your bed?!" I shouted, not caring if anyone else heard. I had every right to mad!

Anyone would be mad if they woke up in their hot neighbours bed!

Well, if you word it like that I doesn't sound so bad, well, apart from the fact I had no idea I was even there in the first place.

"Please, just calm down. We can talk about this downstairs..." He said, trailing off at the end, his hands still in the air.

"How about, I throw this lampshade at your head, and climb out the window Batman style?" I said seriously, despite my experiences with windows not being that great.

"Well, if we thought about this rationally, his body is too big to hide from the police and from what I saw a couple of hours ago, you are far from being Batman. You are like, the complete opposite of Batman." Bianca said sarcastically as she nudged Adrian out of my way with her hip.

Adrian quickly lowered his hands and glared at Bianca, clearly annoyed at being interrupted. I felt like poking my tongue out at him and kicking him in the shins, because I'm a mature human being, I promise.

She walked up to me and linked her arm through mine.

"You know, it's hard to get away with murder if your holding the murder weapon" she whispered quietly in my ear.

I knew what she was getting at. So I let out a completely over exaggerated sigh to let her know how much I didn't want to do it and put the lamp shade back on the bedside table.

She loudly squealed and led me out of the room, shoving past Adrian on the way out.
