{Luz' POV}
"We are glad to have you here miss.Noceda. I do hope you enjoy our school." Lillith Clawthorn said to the young adult.
Luz's eyes roamed around the lobby of the building. The flooring was made of a creamy white marble that reflected everything like a mirror. The ceiling was white, with large squares cut into it.
Tube shaped light bulbs were installed in the fine-cut square. In the corner of the lobby was a sitting area.
That area had carpeting, it was a rich creamy white color almost identical to the marble. There were small couches in the area each with its own small or medium sized coffee table.
Vines ran down the walls to give it a maturing feeling, while being fake they looked so real. There were pillars lined along the hallways, The pillars had a dark brown structure within that structure was glass that held the shape of stars.
There was a light inside the pillar that made it glow for more affect. There was an enormous chandelier only about 17 in front of the entrance doors. The entire place was absolutely beautiful.
"Thank you so much aunt Lilith. This is amazing" Luz couldn't help but squeal.
Lilith chuckled, "your a smart girl Luz. You deserve this and I'm happy to help you get here.... And just call me Lilith 'aunt' is so weird" The woman laughed.
"I'll help with your things and show you your room." Lilith said picking up 2 of the bags Luz had dropped on the ground.
"Thank you Lilith." The girls traveled down the hall and up three flights of stairs. "Geez you would think for a building so expansive to live in they would have a fucking elevatorrrrr" Luz dragged on.
"Watch your language you big baby." Luz groaned.
"Oh I did forget to mention who your roommate would be. Your roommate is Amity Blight-"
"AMITY WHO NOW!?" Luz hand dropped all her luggage completely flabbergasted.
Lilith turned around and looked at the girl with a look."Oh you will be fine. She's not a bad roommate if you want someone that you'll never have to deal with. Trust me you could have gotten someone way worse"
Luz scoffed, "easy for you to say she's famous!! Like REALLY FUCKING FAMOUS. One slip up and the internet will drag me. I'm going to be over as fast as I started." The girl deadpanned.
Lilith let out a sigh. "I promise it won't be that bad. You'd be amazed at how little she can care about someone's existence." The older woman said turning around and walking again.
Luz let out a frustrated sigh. "Whatever" she murmured picking her things up and walking with Lilith.
At this point they were outside room 399. Lilith hesitated to put the key in the door.
Luz looked over at her confused. "What's wrong?" Lilith sighs and drops her arm limp to her side and looks over to Luz.
"Ok... so I may have forgotten to mention she would be getting a new roommate.." Lilith said.
Luz stared at her wide-eyed.
"you're kidding right..?" Luz whispered in disbelief.
"Ok y'know what? Sooner we get this over the sooner I can leave what is going to be a distasteful situation." Lilith put the key in the keyhole, turning it and opening the door.
Right when you entered the room, the kitchen was to your left there was an L shaped counter against The wall where the door was. To the right of the door was a built in closet that most likely served as a pantry. When you walked in, there was a soft black leather couch facing the opposite direction of the door. The couch was sitting on a black furry rug. Infront of it was a cherry wood coffee table with glass in the middle. About 6 feet infront of the coffee table was a black T.V stand holding a 16 inch flat screen T.V. There were tall pots with large plants clearly for decoration sitting on either side of the T. V stand. It was a living room about 40 feet wide. On the right side of the living room was a dark oak bookcase that seemed to already be filled with books. Same on the left side of the living room. The bookcases had vines and fairy lights rapped and streamed on it. About 4 feet away from each bookcase was a door. The bedroom doors. In Luz' eyes one of the best parts was that the entire back wall was decorated with pictures and posters.
"Wow Lilith... you guys have amazing interior designers.." Luz let out dreamily, still amazed by the room. Lilith snorted, "thank you"Luz looked back around the room. "Your room is on the right. Amity took the room on the left. I'll fill you in on everything you need to know." Lilith exclaimed.
Luz hummed in agreement and went over to where her room was. She opened the door and turned the light on. The room was about 20 long and 50 feet wide. The bed was up against the wall on the left side of the room, it was lifted on the floor by steps. (I'm sorry I have no clue how to really explain how I imagine the bed being placed so bare with me:/ )the floor beneath the bed was elevated into a round platform floor the bed was a cambeck queen bed with two lights hung from the tops of the frame. On the right side of the room was a small sink and a wide mirror on the wall on top of it. On the right of that was the bathroom. That contained a simple toilet and small glass shower.
"This is a nice room." Luz stated sitting her belongings down against the opposite wall.
"Indeed it is. This is one of the more expansive rooms. It has more character than most others." Lilith said smiling over at Luz.
"But gosh if you thought the living room and the lobby was beautiful, wait till you see Amity's room. That girl has a talent for decor" Lilith snorted at the end recalling what Amity's room looked like. Luz turned around and looked at Lilith who was putting the young adults bags down.
"So is there anything I need to know about Amity?" Lilith looked up at Luz and smiled.
"That girl also cannot cook FOR THE LIFE OF HER." Lilith couldn't help but laugh at the memory.
"She loves reading as you can tell by the fact that she filled your bookcase and hers with a bunch of her books, not to mention she has a bookcase filled with books in her room to. She's pretty good at drawing. Amity also has a weird obsession frogs.... And We only said no cats or dogs aloud, so she does have a case with an Amazon milk frog." (Yes I'm forcing my obsession onto Amity leave me alone.) Luz stood there blinking for a few seconds. "She.... Has a what now?" She questioned.
Lilith laughed, "oh don't worry, it is non venomous you will be fine." She waved off the younger woman's concerns.
"How do you know it's non venomous!?" Luz practically yelled.
"I'm basically a second mother to Amity. She loves that creature and has spoken to me enough times about them for me to know they pose no threat. It also wouldn't be aloud in the building if they did..."
Luz huffed in annoyance.
Luz had finished unpacking all over her things and putting up all of her posters and belongings. She had to admit, this place was very well built.
According to Lilith her roommate was busy at her recording studio today. Luz didn't know how long she would be gone but apparently she left at about 1:20 in the afternoon, and it was currently 7:45 at night.
Luz couldn't help but become curious as to what the Amity Blights room looked like.
While knowing she had a creepy animal in there it kinda sounded cool. She didn't want to go look, because she would be breaching her roommates privacy but she was very curious.
Luz sighed, letting her curiosity get the best of her. She walked out of her room closing the door behind her and walked over to Amity's. Standing there for a few seconds, she contemplated whether she should really just go in.
Deciding that it wasn't a big deal she put her hand up and turned the nob. 'Shit'
It'll get better- bye
