"The bus ride was just tiring!"

"To be honest..I wouldn't go with a huge group of people."

"Why don't we plan a trip, just the two of us Y/n." Ayame wrapped her arm around Y/n's shoulder, glaring at Sakusa and Komori as they sighed. "That would be nice-"

"There's already a couple! We just started this trip!" Komori said as a couple was holding hands. "Why do people confess during this time of year..?" Sakusa asked.

"I think it's the mood- hey why aren't you surrounded by a bunch of girls right now? I mean aren't you the pretty boy in school?" Ayame said as he shrugged. "I'm not as "pretty" as you think. You should say that about Y/n, a boy just pulled her aside just right now."

They looked over to Ayame who was looking around her. "Oh come on we have to see this! I want to know if she's going to reject the dude or not!" Ayame started running around as some of her classmates followed her.

"Why are you running so fast?!"

"Mind your business!"

Sakusa and Komori were both trying to keep up with Ayame as she was already so far ahead, they then turned a corner, bumping into her and a few classmates as they hide behind a few things, watching Y/n talk to a classmate.

"I'm sorry but I'm not interested in you..and to be honest I don't even know your name-"

"Well you can know my name-"

"I'm sorry but I just don't like you. I sort of like someone else-"

'Huh?!'

The group of people accidentally fell over as the two looked at them. "What are you guys doing here?" Y/n said as Ayame shook her head. "When were you going to tell me that you actually liked someone!?"

"Well-"

"Sakusa, why are you here? Think you can just show up and get in my way? Come on, just admit that you like Y/n." the boy said as Sakusa and her eyes widened. "Huh?! She may be tolerable to hang around with but I wouldn't date her."

"That felt so backhanded.."

"So then why are you here-"

"Can we just talk about how Y/n already likes someone else?! Is it that boy you met at Nationals? Is it?" Ayame looked at her as Y/n repeatedly shook her head. "It's not I promise!" Ayame noticed how she looked over to the side, Ayame's eyes following to where Y/n was looking at.

"Really?!"

"What?!"

"Guys are we going to go eat or what?! I'm kinda hungry but everyone's just yelling! We could get in trouble because of this!" Komori said as he was moving around his hands, watching Ayame take Y/n over to the other side.

"When did this happen?! Why did this happen?! And what cause this to happen because-"

"Ayame! I just sort of..I don't know..I think I need time to think of it."

"Alright. Motoyaaa! What are you planning to eat?" Ayame took his hand as his face immediately went red. She took him far away as she left Sakusa and Y/n alone. "Well..they're off."

"Do you want to do anything Sakusa?" she looked over to him as he shook his head. "No, we can just walk around." she nodded as the two walked down the path, leading themselves to a near pond.

The water was clear, filled with lily pads as they looked over to the fence, leaning themselves on it. "It's pretty out here, I haven't been to Kyoto since last year." she said, smiling as she looked over to him.

He was already looking at her as he nodded, his eyes moving over to the pond before he laid his head onto his palm. "It is." he said. She was watching the sky, glancing at the clouds moving as she felt his hand go on to her shoulder.

"Why don't we go eat? I don't mind paying for you."

"Oh no you don't have to pay for me-"

"It's fine, come on. I know somewhere close by." he took her hand as they started to walk away from the pond. He looked back at her, she could've sworn she saw a small bit of blush on his face. What surprised her was that he was holding her hand. He who didn't like the touch of others was holding her hand.

"Why are you giving me that look Y/n?"

Her eyes widened, she felt his hand start to squeeze hers just a bit. She smiled as she started to walk by his side, continuing to hold his hand.

"You just caught me by surprise."
