"Bro..I swear i'll come to practice early, just don't do this to me.."

"Sorry Bokuto.." Suna said before placing his card down, getting a loud response from the player sitting next to him. "That's sixteen cards already?! Why do you guys all have plus fours?!" Bokuto cried out as he embarrassingly took cards from the stack.

"Look Kou, it's just a matter of time—"

"I already have half of the deck!"

Everyone bursted out laughing, all either holding their stomach or hitting the ground with their hands. "I'm so-sorry!" Y/n barely spoke, her laughing caused her words to come out as a wheeze and it made the others laugh ever harder.

"Guys it's not that funny!" Bokuto cried out, sneakingly looking at the others cards with the chance he was given since no one was really paying attention to how they were holding them, showing them out in the open.

It took them a while to quiet down before going back to the game. It was going smoothly, all getting their fair share of cards and loosing some along the way. Aran hid his cards well, played them well too. No one knew he had one left so no one suspected him to win so quickly until he called "Uno Out" and it had them all frozen.

"What?!"

He plainly smiled at his group of friends as they looked at him in shock. "I really thought Atsumu was going to win but I forgot how well you play Aran!" Suna said with a defeated smile plastered on his sweet face. "The best aren't I?" Aran chuckled.

Was this really how a group of adults— star volleyball players— spending their Friday night? Yes, yes it was. All talking with each other, giving one a chance to talk about how they spent their lives after high school.

"Aran, do you remember that time in high school when we went to Itachiyama for a practice match? When you were a third year?" Suna started to say, grabbing everyone's attention as Y/n and Atsumu knew where he was heading. "I don't remember..? Which one?"

"The one where Y/n slapped the shit out of Atsumu! Where he was crying the whole ride back to Hyogo—" Suna started to ramble on, a wide, menacing smile on his face until Atsumu started to speak over him. "Hey! Hey! We don't talk about it! We don't!" Atsumu tried shushing Suna but his loud voice still reached everyone's ears.

"It was my favorite part of that school year of i'm being honest!"

"We get it Suna!"

"I didn't mean to slap you that hard Atsumu!" Y/n spoke in a reassuring tone, patting his head as he rolled his eyes. "Liar, you looked at me like you were about to plan my murder!" Atsumu then turned to Y/n and watched her laugh. "She did right? It was kinda funny." Sakusa joined in.

"Don't get me started on you!" Atsumu then stood up and pointed at Sakusa. "You! I've never seen you more irritated in my life! I knew you threw that volleyball at me on purpose during that practice match!" Atsumu said as Sakusa's turned red from the embarrassment but they couldn't tell since they were drinking.

"Hey! You were just an asshole!"

"And you're like— the worse of worse assholes out there!" Atsumu pouted, sitting on the bed as Y/n laughed at the two. She then stood up and headed towards the mini kitchen where Mitsuo was watching the whole thing. "I'm tired!" her body sluggishly dropped onto the empty chair next to him.

"And a bit..drunk, do you want to go back to the room Y/n? It's getting late." Mitsuo said, glancing at her drunken state, her eyes close to shutting and her flushed expression. "Mhm." she mumbled, leaning her head onto his chest, making him freeze. If she were sober, she would automatically feel his heart beat and how fast it was going.

He patted her head before putting his hand on her shoulders and pulling her away. "Come on, let's at least say goodbye first before you start sleeping Y/n." she frowned at his sweet voice. If she could describe it, he sounded like strawberries coated with thick honey. Or maybe she was just hungry..but that's how she would describe it.

She then stood up from her chair and simply made her way back to her friends and gave them each a hug before leaving. "Bye guys!" Y/n said, grabbing her coat and purse as Mitsuo waved goodbye to them until they left the room.

"I'm jealous. That man is too good looking!" Suna said, taking a sip of his beer as Atsumu nodded, Aran contemplated to agree but eventually, he agreed. "Jealous of Y/n?" Aoi said in a confused tone as they all nodded their heads. "If anything, that man is perfect! Did you see the way he looked at her? Ugh I love it." Suna sighed.

Sakusa laughed, earning a look from Aoi who was sitting next to him. "It's getting late, we should go as well." Aran said, poking at Atsumu and Suna who were close to passing out on the floor. "Okay, okay! Bye Saku, Bye Fujita!" Suna then stood up, waving his hands in the air with a cheeky smile on his face. Atsumu doing the same as Aran escorted them out the room. "I guess i'm going too, bye!" Bokuto said his goodbyes and followed the players out the door.

"Bye!"

Sakusa sighed, rolling on top of his bed and laying his head onto his pillow, not caring to cover himself as Aoi stayed where she was. She eyed him before looking away. "I'm going to bed, night Fujita." Sakusa mumbled against his pillow as his hand reached over to the night stand to turn off his side of the lamp.

"Night Sakusa."

He heard her lamp turn off as well, closing his eyes and attempting to sleep but he couldn't get his mind to be clear.
