The smokey aura had scared Camille when she first saw it, but now she looked at as if it would be the death of her. Camille did nothing but stare as Chase focused this new energy into his forearms. They shined brightly, and she scooted backwards towards the edge of Freedom Dock.
"If this isn't enough proof I am Captain, then I will take my leave," he said forcefully. Camille could sense it, but everyone else couldn't. Force magic is intertwined with emotions. The angrier a force magician is, the more powerful they are. There is only one force magician though and that is Chase.
When Chase's forearms glowed a brighter light blue, Camille hopped up and gathered two black energy balls in her hands. She shot then forwards, but she was too late. Chase grabbed the balls in each hand, and they aimlessly burst out of his clenched fist.
Suddenly, Chase propelled himself forward by shooting force blasts behind him. He then fired a rapid succession of shots out of his fingers that landed dead onto the general. She nearly hit the water, but she shot a root up to stop her from hitting the surface. She then clapped her hands together just like Lilliana and disappeared.
Camille didn't want to hurt Chase too much. She loved Captain, but she loved her pride and statice even more. The full on dark enchantment was going to do her good in such a fight.
Chase didn't look amused. His brow was crossed as Camille came ever closer. He smiled and cast a force shield in front of himself. Camille's ray of black that she just shot shot back at her, and it rammed into her. Chase laughed to himself and charged forward once again. This time he was ready to kick her ass.
As he came closer and closer, the forearms grew brighter and brighter. Then when he was upon her, he slammed fist after fist into her body. Camille couldn't take the barrage and using her dark enchantment to cast a void. The void sucked all attacks in and each attack he did hurt himself. Chase backed away from Camille and held his injured hand.
The void did a number on Chase, but that wouldn't mean he would give up. He flung himself into a fighting stance and prepared for the worst. Chase didn't even know, but somehow he knew exactly what to do. A voice in his mind told him to put his hands out like a bear claw and charge it.
Camille was getting over the strength she lost from the enchantment. She couldn't believe. She knew she had a lot more strength then this. "What could be going on," she thought to herself. "Someone must be taking my power. Who could that be though? The only magic that can do that is poison. It must be something else."
Parker was smirking on the sideline. His plan had gone just as planned. Using a present a friendly creation magician gave him, he managed to sneak a device in that slowly drained someone of their mana and put in an other person. In this case, he was drawing mana from Camille and putting it into Chloe. She needed the power the most. The shady creation magician user knew what he was doing when he made the useful instrument.
On the ground lay Chloe who didn't want to get up, but this power that swarmed in her had started to make her get up. She got up on her feet and turned to the fight. Except there was no fight. Chloe moved forward and felt a chill inside herself. She felt the mana flowing through her veins. It felt good, but she had no idea how to control it. Chase knew somehow though.
But just as she thought the battle was over. Camille got up and slammed her hands into the floor boards. Two giant roots sprung through the dock and nearly grabbed Chase. Something had flashed in to protect him. It was George.
He wore the sand uniform that he had on in her memories of the battle against Hydroscious. The roots danced and struck at George, but he slashed each one with his sword. Every slice seemed to caught each root into two, but it just regenerated. While George distracted the roots, Chase powered up his attack.
