"do you and chase still talk?" michael looked at elena as they waited outside to get picked up from the airport.
elena turned to michael and looked at him like he was stupid.
"like at all you guys don't talk?" michael questioned again.
elena shook her head, "no." she said.

"oh," he spoke, "but you guys follow each other on instagram." he pointed out.
"he followed me like a month ago and i just followed him back," elena shrugged as she looked down at the suitcase she was leaning on.
michael slowly nodded.

"do you think you guys will get back together?" he asked her.
she sighed, "i don't think so .." she looked at him, "why? isn't that what you want?" he wondered.
"...  why are you asking me all this?" she put her hands on her hips.
"i'm just wondering," he put his hands up, "and i like this topic, it's fun." he told her, "also he's my close friend." he added.

"ya, i couldn't escape him if i wanted to," elena shook her head and rolled her eyes.
"what do you mean?" michael asked.
"nevermind," elena shook her head as she yawned.
"wait no, what?" he questioned. elena yawned and shook her head once more as she looked away from him.
"im too tired to talk about this." she announced.

michael just shrugged it off and went on his phone, elena doing the same.

michael was staying at elena's place until they had his situation figured out. michael being michael, forgot his keys on his desk, the most important thing he was required to take on this trip.

again michael being michael, he would rather go over to chases, then figure out his living situation.
of course elena wasn't too pleased to find out where he was going, but she didn't even care anymore.

michael arrived at the hype house. chase let him in and he went to greet and say hi to everyone.

"YOOOOO" michael put his hands up as he walked to the top floor with chase.
"YOOOOO" nick copied him as he dapped him up excitedly.

nick then looked at chase, then at michael.
"so whys he here by himself?" he questioned, talking about elena not being there.
"maybe because we're not together anymore." chase nodded at nick.

"woah there, no need to get aggressive." nick joked and chase just shook his head.
"it's good he's here by himself." ryland said as he came and dapped michael up.
"i don't understand your guyses beef," michael said.

"nobody does." chase shook his head.
"she doesn't like me so i don't like her, that's it." ryland stated as he sipped his white claw.
"but why?" michael wondered.
"i don't know ? she's fuckin weird, it's not my fault she doesn't like anyone," ryland rolled his eyes.

the others looked at eachother, but just shrugged it off. nobody knows why ryland hates elena so much, and they can't seem to figure it out either. elena doesn't seem to have that big of a problem with him. well, she doesn't have a problem with him. it started off as one sided beef from ryland, and then elena caught on and started having beef with him back.
but she doesn't care anymore, that was months ago.

"wait.. is elena here too? in la?" chase looked at michael.
michael looked at him and froze. elena told michael to not say anything.
"oh- no, she's not." he replied, shrugging it off.
"oh." chase spoke.
"yeah," michael said, "that's good right? or no?" he questioned. (michael is very slow.)

"i mean-" chase began, but nick cut him off by saying, "no, it's not good."
"why?" michael asked.
"cause now chase and elena can't talk." nick responded.
"what do you guys even have to talk about?" michael looked at chase. he was trying to act like he wasn't about to go tell elena everything that is being said in this conversation.

"they can talk-"
"'nothing." chase cut nick off. michael had the brain of a 10 year old so he doesn't understand much, so did nick.

"so whyd you mysteriously come to LA by yourself?" ryland asked, taking a sip of his white claw.
michael shrugged, "just felt like it, you know. miamis been boring. same thing every day." he explained and they nodded.
"so move here," ryland suggested.
michael shrugged, "thinking about it."
ryland nodded, sipped his drink, then walked the opposite direction.
