"Hey, why you look so dull?"
Lisa sits beside her friend, leaning her back on her shoulder, making Chaeyoung whine in annoyance.
"Ahhh....Lisa !!! You are so sweaty"
"Because I came from the practice"
Instead of moving away, the Thai girl rubs her sweat soaked tshirt more on Chaeyoung's exposed skin. And Chaeyoung obviously this time, yeets her away aggressively.
"Eww"
As if Chayoung's cringing face is the greatest amusement to Lisa, the Thai girl breaks into giggles.
"But why are you so space out?"
Chaeyoung purses her lips and lazilily scratches the fabric of the bed sheet.
"Hey tell me? Lover's fight?"
Lisa eagerly asks, while she sits attentively, stuffing a cushion on her lap and propping her hands on it. Chaeyoug stares at her indecisively, but gives in at last.
"Not exactly fight.... how should I put it? I feel he is avoiding me..."
"What for??"
"Well....."
Chaeyoung licks her lips.
"Last month, in Eunwoo's party, Jaehyun had a fight with Jeon Jung Kook"
"Jeon Jung Kook? Aren't they friends?"
"Yeah..."
"What was the reason?"
The question puts Chaeyoung in a momentary silence. She, herself is still finding it hard to believe what she has heard. But Eunwoo, himself, has told her so she can't simply discard it as an absurd rumour. Honestly, she is really irritated with Jungkook, not that she ever liked him. Infact, she always wondered how such a sophiscated, well mannered man like Jaehyun befriended with that guy. He literally looks like a thug, with all those piercings and tattoos and the new addition of man bun. He is far far different from Chaeyoung's type and what he told? He liked her??...pfffttt....as if he ever had a chance with Chaeyoung. No, it's just not about his looks, also his fuckboy image. Everyone knows in the industry, how much Jungkook plays and sleeps around with girls. Never sincere with any of them, just there to get into their pants. A few days back only, he was caught in camera, hugging a tattoo artist and now look at his audacity, he told her boyfriend that he liked her. Chaeyoung's blood boils even to think about it, she feels sick thinking that Jungkook actually thought of playing with her too.
"Hey Rosie..I asked you something. You again zoned out?"
"Jeon Jung Kook had a crush on me"
"What??"
"And he told that to Jaehyun and he got angry. He punched him"
"Wooooaaaahhh.... he really said that to Jaehyun??"
Lisa screams in disbelief, while Chaeyoung just nods her head.
"But why are you so troubled? You can't control someone's feelings."
"I know... it's just Jaehyun is behaving weird since that day"
Lisa shakes her head and pats her friend on the head.
"I warn you Chae... don't take any blame for it. You are at no fault. It's Jaehyun and Jungkook's matter to deal with"
Chaeyoung lies down and stares at ceiling helplessly.
"I know but I can't forget that I was the cause of it"
"You are not, I am telling you that. You are too nice for your own good"
"I don't know Lisa... though I despise Jeon Jung Kook to the core, I know Jaehyun and he had been good friends since a while. I don't want to be the reason of their fight..."
"Chae...stay away of those thoughts, okay??"
Chaeyoung silently nods to her. She knows Lisa is correct, she should just leave it to the guys.
"I am really annoyed at your boyfriend though"
Lisa pouts angrily, still looking a cutie.
"Why?"
"What do you mean why? Why is he ignoring you? You did no wrong"
Chaeyoung bites her inner cheeks, not that she never felt the same as Lisa but she thought to give Jaehyun some space.
"I understand him though"
"Understand? How?"
"I mean... it's uncomfortable right? Assume one day I got to know that you liked Jaehyun too. I obviously would take sometime to cope with the fact"
Suddenly Lisa's angry pink face turns ice pale. She stutters defensively,
"You don't need to Chae, my preferences for men are very different than you"
"I know"
Chaeyoung chuckles, giving relief to the Thai girl. She lies down beside her friend snuggling to her body. Chaeyong crinkles her nose.
"Dirty girl !!"
"Stop with it, I have already maligned you, Angel"
They burst into laughter but soon get stopped by Jennie, who has stormed into the room.
"You saw that Chae?"
"Saw what?"
Jennie clicks her tongue and throws her phone, which Lisa effortlessly catches. She then reads out each words loudly, of the article opened in the phone.
