chapter 8

Zara pov

Everyday you were taken to be experimented on, everyday hurt more then the last. You lost track on how long you had been there but you over heard the guard mention your name and the sentence; "It been 2 months, how long is it going to take?".

So you had been here 2 months, good to know. As you laid on your bed your thoughts drifted to the Avengers, did they miss you? Were they trying to find you? You sighed as your mind then drifted to Bucky. You missed him, his smile, his eyes when he looked at you, the way he asked if you were okay and tended to you when you got hurt, the feeling you had whenever he touched your bare skin. Bucky was the only thing keeping you sane.

Karpov and injected you with multiple liquids to try and achieve something when you first arrived, now he was subjecting you to things trying to engage those liquids to manifest in your body. So far he had tried beating you, drowning, electrocuting, burning and stabbing you but they didn't manifest. You wondered what he had in store for you today. The guards once again took you to the testing room and sat you down on a chair, Karpov walked in and sat opposite you looking down at something in his hands.

"Hello Zara, how are you today?" he asked.

I didn't reply.

"Well I unfortunately have some news that may shock you"

He handed me the items in his hand, they were photos of the Avengers all laying dead, bloody and beaten or shot. I flicked through the photos and saw one of dad and Nat both shot in the head. Tears fell down my Cheeks as I came to the pictures of Bucky, he was dismembered and a close up of his head was shown. Pain and rage coursed through my body, I let out a scream that sent everything around me flying across the room. I gripped me head as I fell to knees and cried.

"Amazing" Karpov muttered and stared at me, I caught my reflection on the metal table, my hair had turned white when I let the power out. He called the guards to take me to the training room.

I was placed in the middle of the room with several guards in front of me, Karpov's voice rang out over the speakers.

"Defeat them" he ordered.

I looked at the guards as they approached me, I felt this new power boiling inside me and I flicked my wrist and sent them all flying into the wall. Over the course of a few hours I again and again followed Karpov's orders, I had nothing else, with everyone dead I didn't have hope and I didn't feel anything.

Over the course of a few weeks I had mastered my new power of telekinesis and even developed telepathy too, Karpov pushed me to my limits and further then that. Each day I would be escorted back to my cell and pass out only to be woken the next morning with some bread and water and do training all over again.

Everyone's pov

It had been almost 3 months since Zara was taken, Clint barely spoke to anyone in the first few weeks and then left to return to Laura and the kids but we promised that if we found something we would call him. Bucky had left to track you down a week after you went missing and no one had heard from him since, the rest of the team spent their time attacking and raiding any Hydra base they found.

Bucky's pov

Its taken me a while but I have finally found a lead on Zara, I had been following a few Hydra agents around a small village in Russia called Esso when I over heard them talking about Zara.

I followed them out to the country side and saw a small hatch covered in the snow, no wonder the base hadn't been found they have started to make bases underground. I waited until the cover of night before I attempted to sneak in, to my surprise no alarms went off as I entered and creeped down the halls. Searching each room was going to take to long, I found a computer room and started searching for cell locations. After a few minutes I found the cell, cell 232 subject white ninja. I quickly headed back to the hall and made my way down to the cells.
