Bucky and I have been together for just over a year now and we couldn't be happier. We spent the months of the house being built in his apartment, to be honest I loved living with him there. He got Nat to bring my things over and she filled me in on things going on at the compound, her and Steve were getting more serious and Wanda and Vision had started dating.
When the house was finished I moved in soon after and I asked Bucky to move with me, he was so happy I wanted him to move in with me and spun me around, laughing. The house had its own gym, library, chef kitchen and was 3 bedrooms, Nat and Steve would stay over often as they enjoyed the peace and quiet.
Were having a BBQ tonight with everyone, we even invited Clint but he didn't come. I had stopped calling him dad a few months ago which hurt but Tony had kind of taken over the role in an effort to be there for me more, I was grateful for it and he became an adoptive father for me. As the boys stood around the grill with beers in hand and laughing, Wanda, Nat, Pepper and I were in the house sipping wine and preparing all the salads and other foods.
"So how are you liking living here with Bucky?" asked Pepper.
"Its amazing Pepper, I don't think I have ever been happier" I smiled as I chopped up some lettuce.
They all smiled at me and Nat pulled me into a hug.
"I'm so happy your finally happy Zara" she said.
The boys called to us and told us the meat was ready, we carried everything outside and placed it on a table we had brought out. We sat around a fire pit talking and eating, it was so nice and relaxing having the team here, I leaned into Bucky and sighed contently.
"You okay doll?" he asked. I simply nodded and kissed his cheeks, earning a grin from him.
As the night went on I was talking to Wanda when I felt a tap on my shoulder, I turned and saw Bucky down on one knee and I swear my heart stopped for a second.
"Zara ever since I meet you I knew you were the one for me, you have brought so much happiness to my life that I want to spend the rest of mine making you happy. Will you marry me?"
He opened the ring box and to reveal a beautiful rose gold ring with a blue topaz.

I looked at Bucky as he watched me for my answer.
"Yes! A thousand times yes!"
A wide grin spread on his face as he placed the ring on my finger, I threw myself into his arms and kissed him deeply. The others cheered and congratulated us, the girls gushed over the ring and how "very me" it was.
It was late when everyone left to head back, I waved goodbye to them as Bucky held me from behind. As soon as they were out of sight I was picked up bridal style and carried back inside, I laughed and laid kisses along Bucky's neck. He carried me up to bed and we spent the rest of the night making love and worshipping each other.
