Chapter Six

Jen's P.O.V.
It feels so good to know that Josh likes me back. I never expected this to happen. Everyday Josh and I text each other pretty much non-stop. I love having someone I can confide in. He's so supportive and caring, it's great. We're not officially dating, but soon enough we will be. I just don't want to rush things.

Today, I'm going out to lunch with Sierra, Grace, Chloe, and Bri, then we're going to see a movie. It's a Saturday, and since we didn't have a swim meet today, we decided to hangout. I think it'll be good for me to have a girls' day out.
I start the day off by sleeping in, which is great. As a swimmer, I don't get to sleep in much. I eat some breakfast then hop in the shower. At 11:00, Chloe pulls up in front of my house in her car. Bri, Sierra, and Grace are already inside.
"Hey, girls," I say when I get in the back of Chloe's car.
"Hey," they all chorus back, then they start to ask about Josh. I've told them parts of the story, but they don't know everything that happened. I start to talk about our argument, then continue the story with the details of our "lunch date", as my friends all call it.
"YOU HELD HANDS!?" Squeals Sierra.
"Yeah," I reply, quite sheepishly.
"OMG! I ship it-Joshifer!" Adds Grace.
"Guys, chill, we're not even in a relationship yet!" I say.
"Soon enough!" Scoffs Briana. "You can never ship a relationship too early!"
The talk about Josh continues all the way through lunch and on the way to the movie theater. When we find a parking spot, I notice what looks to be Josh's car, parked a few spaces down. Well, that's odd, I think. Josh said he was busy today...
We walk into the theater and buy tickets at the booth to see "Grown Ups 2". After we purchase our tickets, we head over to the snack bar and order popcorn, candy, and sodas for each of us. Once we get our snacks, we head into the specific room where our movie will be shown. We find five seats near the back of the theater. A few rows ahead of us, I notice a couple sitting next to each other. The man looks oddly like Josh from behind. Sure enough, when the man turns around, it is Josh. He doesn't notice us, though. A few minutes later, the girl with him turns around, too. And that girl turns out to be Kelly.
