After the weird encounter with Steven, David had no time left to mess around, it was clear that Viktor nor his men were giving up this soon. Too much was at stake, too much. David took little time packing what was left of his luggage in a small backpack. He took a deep breath and immediately rued it as his ribs protested. He lay on the 'bed' for a while and pulled out the paper with the address from his pocket and oddly stared at it. It was as if it took him into a deep trance of nothing but pain, joy, laughter and pain. If you leave me Dave, I'll die he remembered those six words as if they were forever engraved into his everyday thoughts. He got up, shook himself off, put on his hood and left the room.
Just as he had anticipated, the twilight was accompanied by a gruesome howling wind and top it off, the snow began to fall relentlessly. It had now been two hours and Dave was beginning to rethink this whole thing.

Indeed i had been here for two hours; at this point in time i was ready to leave and go back to the safe heaven which was my 'bed'. If it weren't for the dim fog lights that had suddenly appeared over the horizon i would've left. As the distant lights came closer and the dimness became ever brighter and so did my resolve. I gathered what was left in the tank and signalled for the big haulage truck to stop.
The huge man in the truck, was indeed an enormous man and he broke the silence first "Hi there laddie, you'll freeze to death out here" his words came out a bit muffled partly because of the very long very thick beard bound on his face.

It took a moment for me to shake off the shiver in my voice "Why thank you sir" i started as i entered the passenger seat "Evington" i simply said as i slammed the door shut. "I believe that is where you're headed?" it was a rather rhetorical question but the guy answered anyway "Yes, wanna a ride fella?" In some instances it only takes a word to change things and in this instance that word was "Yes"

As the hours flew by, so did the truck racing over the frozen tarmac. With the warmth inside the vehicle David tried vainly to suppress the slumber creeping up on him but as the road in front of them began to blur up, even David knew it no longer a matter of if but when. It's not like I'm the one driving he thought silently and drifted off to the land without easy return: Dreamland.

I was in a dark hauntingly familiar room. So familiar that it was at the tip of my tongue. Someone suddenly entered the room and as the person entered the room they cast in light from the parallel room. Female. I could instantly tell before even turning to her, that i could tell from her petite shadow. At that moment i could tell i was dreaming, lucid dreaming to be specific. I turned towards the figure and there she was looking just as beautiful as she always had. She was wearing a pretty pink jean and a neat Chanel sweater. We stood there looking at each other, the she started "If you leave me Dave, I'll die" she said that over and over again until i couldn't take it anymore "You know i had to Mel" i cried "You know i had to......."

I woke up with a start and was confused on where we were and why we were here......but for some crazy reason i could instantly tell that we weren't supposed to be here. Had Viktor and his men found me, and had i just put this friendly man in trouble. Guilt settled into my gut and i felt sick, this man was going to be killed because of me. I looked right beside me to the driver seat and he was gone...!
