As I stepped out into the sun, I turned back towards Ava who was standing at the top of the university steps.
I waved slightly, a smile on my features. She waved back, turning towards the large university doors and disappearing.
Now to find Alice.
Rushing footsteps from behind me caused me to swerve around, almost hitijg the person.
¨ Colley!¨
The familiar voice filled my ears, my face lighting up.
¨ alice!¨
We made it... we are home...

¨Professor, are you sure it was a good idea to allow her to meet Alice?¨
¨ Of course it was. Besides, I had a favor to fulfill.¨
¨ but did it really mean breaking her watch? Couldn't you have gotten them together during this time?¨
¨ no, because their adventure together is what created this strong bond.¨
¨ you never answered my question from earlier- what is Alice and Colley to you?¨
¨ they are my mothers, of course."
