Jack's P.O.V.

I thought everything was fine. I heard footsteps upstairs and I thought it was just Zach. But it wasn't even 5 minutes later Zach was yelling for us upstairs. We all look at each other for one second before we race to Ava's room. I knew something was wrong because I could hear her fast breathing from the stairs. I try to run faster without you knowing I look like a werewolf. We open the door to see Ava fall on the ground breathing fast. She's lost balance and breathing. I look at Zach to see his eye color being green. Great, wonder what he got us into. I ran over to Ava as fast as humanly possible could. I pick her up and start rubbing her back to calm her down. It took a while but she eventually went back to breathing normal. As I was trying to calm her down Jonah was asking Zach what he did to her because you know Jonah's the leader and also the most over protective. It wasn't helping, I'll tell you that. Ava stayed in my arms as I picked her up. Everyone was silent. I put her in my bridal style and made my way to the door. When I stopped I looked at both Jonah and Zach glaring as when Me and Ava came to Zach she held on tighter to me. After glaring at both of them I took Ava to my room. I can't believe it. The first thing they should've done as mates was check if Ava was okay, not fight over who did what and what happened. I sat Ava down gently on the bed as I saw tears run down her face. I got in front of her on the bed, wiping them away.

Me: * concerned * What's wrong?

Ava: What are you guys? I saw Zach's eye color change from brown to green. I'm not just thinking about it.

Me: We can't tell you yet but we will..... I promise.

Ava: * nods * Okay. I'm sorry.

Me: For what?

Ava: The panic attack.

Me: It's okay and it wasn't your fault. Don't apologize.

I gently got on the right side of her and hugged her from behind. She put her arms around my arms and slowly started to drift off to sleep. I laid her down on one of the pillows then tucked the sheets and blankets over her. I silently closed the door behind me and walked to where the others were.
