What happened next became a big blur. I picked Ava and put her over my shoulder but before I made it up the stairs Ava was pulled off of me and thrown onto the coffee table. It broke under her as she landed. She wasn't moving. I heard her breathing so that was good but she started losing blood. I looked at Corbyn but it wasn't him. His eye color was pure jet black. But it was just that something was off. I don't understand. When we are in heat we usually don't hurt our mate. Jonah tackled Corbyn before he could do any more damage and shot a drug in his system. Corbyn fell limp as Jack held him and Zach ran over to Ava. Her eyes were open and when he tried to pick her up a pool of blood was under her. I know she was in pain. We haven't mated with her yet so the bond is not as strong as it will be. Corbyn was still down for the count. I think Ava's back is broken and she's in shock. Me and the boys all look at each other worried. It's not the fact that we can't heal her because Zach can but if Corbyn, the gentle and loving Corbyn did this. What are we going to do? I mean I'm not saying we're not gentle or loving it's just he was known as a more gentle type and more open. I don't know. I just always saw Corbyn as a chill dude. But I can't believe he did that, ....... how did he do that? In heat we get rude and mean but not physically harmful. Zach carried Ava to her room and healed her. There were still a few bruises but they will be gone soon. Corbyn shouldn't wake up for at least a few hours. I'm not sure how long this physical harm will happen for each of us. The worst thing to happen would be if we all turned like this at the same time so we need to find out what's happening.
