Corbyn's P.O.V.

I can't believe it! We did it! We got Jacob from Logan just because Ava was stupid enough to get kidnapped by vampires if she really has been kidnapped. So she beat up my friend, left because she couldn't handle that we were disappointed in her, then got kidnapped. Is she selfish or what! It's worse when I have Daniel sticking up for her. If she had attacked Lovey he would have felt the same way. So I don't need him pulling the it's not all her fault card. It's because of her that we're in this situation! But it's oh well we shouldn't be mad at all. Christina had a bruise on her cheek and a cut on her leg from scraping it off the little desk by the couch. Gabbie has a bruise on her arm and a black eye but that doesn't matter either, does it? Whatever, Jacob is in our home currently in the basement. We chained him to the wall with silver. But we had Eben put it there. As I was thinking about all of this Christina was taking a shower and I was in my room. I decided to go for a walk. I need one. I made it down the stairs to see Jack slowly eating Ramen, Zach also eating Ramen, Jonah drinking coffee, and Gabbie on the couch watching Netflix. I opened the glass door to the backyard. I closed it behind me and started to walk. I was making my way to the river. When I made it there on a tree before it another letter was set on a tree limb. It was again titled: To The Mates. I opened it and read the stupid letter. Here's what the letter said.

Dear Mates, good boys! Now we don't want Jacob harmed at all or else! Don't play around. Tonight at 12 am release him into the forest. Don't follow him or anything. We'll leave further instructions on where your mate will be. Don't mess up!

Then I looked in the envelope to find a picture of Ava sleeping on a couch. So she was kidnapped!Seriously! My brother's are acting like fools. Over some stupid girl. She doesn't even care about us. I walk back to the house with this stupid letter and hand it to Jonah. Jack and Zach were still eating and I bet Daniel's in his room not that I care right now. Jonah looked at the letter rather than the picture to see Ava sleeping on a couch. I'm done. I walk up to my room to see Christina on the bed looking at her phone. I flop on the bed and let out a frustrated sigh. She smiles at me then puts her phone down to play with my hair knowing it calms me down. Why couldn't I get her as my mate. She would've been better than Ava anyway.

Ava's P.O.V.

It's currently dinner time. Jasper and Alice gave me some more space. I was glad to have it. I'm the only one who has to eat human food so of course I have to go down to the dinner table. I slowly got up from the bed which I moved to earlier. I opened the door to see Emmett Waiting on me.

Me: Hey. * smiles weak smile *

Emmett: Hey how are you doing? * sympathetic smile *

Me: I'm okay, you?

Emmett: Okay.

Me: So what did you make and with who?

Emmett: * smiles wider * Well me, Rosalie, and Carlisle made you salad with steak.

Me: That sounds so good. But have you guys eaten yet? * questioning *

Emmett: We don't eat unless we must. We kill animals so we don't kill any humans.

* thoughts *

Then why would Bella want to bite me and change me? We make it to the table but Bella and Edward aren't there. I don't mean to sound rude but I'm kinda glad they're not. I sit down and everyone else is. I smile at everyone then look at my plate which is already full of food. They also gave me a glass of water because I was super thirsty.

Me: So, * grabs everyone's attention * How is everyone?

Jasper: We're good. * hugs Alice *

Emmett: Us too! * points to Rosalie *

Carlisle: I'm good. But it was a busy day at the hospital.

Me: You're a doctor? * shocked *

Carlisle: * laughs a little * Yeah, sorry I forgot you don't know much about us.

Me: It's okay, that's so cool. What about the rest of you guys? I mean I know you're vampires but you don't look a day over 17.

Alice: * laughs * Thanks, we all graduated from high school a few years ago.

Me: Lucky. I would've finished this year but stuff happened.

Carlisle: Don't worry, * smiles * you can finish.

Me: So is there anything you guys like to do?

Jasper: Jump from tree to tree.

Me: What! * yells with the WTF How? face *

Jasper: Oh, it's one of the great things about being a vampire.

Me: That's so cool. I would read so many Wattpad stories about you guys but I didn't think you were real.

Jasper: * confused * What's Wattpad?

Me: Oh, * blushes * Never mind. Just an app.

Emmett: * points at me smirking * Sure it is?

After that we talked a little more before Bella came in with Edward saying that I should go get some rest because the plan's in motion. Not that I know what their plan is.
