Author's notes:

Hi hi hi! After the long wait I bring you the newest part, please don't skin me alive. I promise I'm not abandoning this fic. I have so many ideas for this one. I also wrote this chapter quickly instead of writing the two fics wich are already due for two ongoing fests. Oops.

To my excuse I just finished Uni.

Enjoy!

Marcel's last few days were spent with nervous packing and arranging for the supply run. He made sure a thousand times that the boat they were taking was functional. He liked to come prepared with foolproof plans, yet he was aware of countless things that could go haywire on a supply run. That's why he couldn't sleep well the day before the selected team of alphas and betas would leave. He tossed and turned in the bed early in the morning, and when he couldn't fell back to sleep, he decided to go to the kitchen because at least until he was making some breakfast, he wasn't disrupting his brothers' rest.

As the alpha with glasses wandered out to the kitchen, he saw Louis was already at the stove, stirring some batter in a bowl and flipping some sizzling bacon in a pan with a fork. Marcel was surprised to find the omega there. In all honesty, he forgot about the blue-eyed boy for a few minutes, which showed how distressed he was about the supply run. After all, no one could really forget about the divine creature under normal circumstances.

" Good morning," Louis greeted the alpha with a warm smile on his face when he saw the taller man.

"Hey! What are you doing up so early in the morning?" Marcel reciprocated the smile.

" Ingrid asked me to help at the greenhouses earlier than usual today because they want to can some vegetables and fruits, so I wanted to prepare breakfast before I had to leave" Louis shrugged.

The omega turned back to the stove, and after flipping the slices of bacon once more, he stood on his tiptoes, trying to reach the higher shelf of the cupboard. Marcel saw his side profile and chuckled, seeing the boy sticking out his tongue in concentration, but he was still a few inches short. The alpha stepped to him and wrapped his right arm around the boy's waist to steady him and reached for the plates Louis wanted to take down.

" Here you go," the alpha offered him the plates, and Louis blinked up at him with his big blue eyes.

" Thank you," the omega beamed at him with the most adorable, sunniest smile Marcel ever saw.

The alpha studied Louis' face with wonder, not letting him out of his hold. He really didn't understand how he could ever forget about him. Now that the newest addition to their pack worked with the other omegas and betas around the greenhouses and general housekeeping, the triplets saw him less and less on a daily basis, and that was sad. Yet, the alpha's thoughts kept wandering around the blue-eyed beauty when he was not in his presence. Marcel felt like he could spend his time just basking in the omega's light if he hadn't had other jobs to do, but now because of the madness of preparing for the supply run, he had barely time to spend a few moments alone with the smaller boy.

Actually, he could see him mostly only at night, and it was lucky that Harry decided at least to keep the omega in their bed. It was really nice to sleep next to the boy, occasionally snuggling up with him in the middle of the night.

Louis was undoubtedly the most wonderful omega the triplets ever met, and they were fortunate to have him around. Even Harry came around to the idea that the boy could become an important member of their pack, and the oldest triplet was also the one who first decided to get the submissive as their mate. After all, the three of them were at the right age to mate and start a family. And it was not easy to find an unmated omega after the world ended, so fortune was really in their favour when the blue-eyed boy fell into their lives. They couldn't even ask for a better omega since the boy was perfection in all sense of the word.
