SHE HADN'T TOLD anyone she was coming back, not even Isaac when he had called. For the simple reason that as much as she wanted to see them again, there was nothing left for her in Beacon Hills. Well, except for Isaac... and Stiles... and maybe Derek. That's beside the point, she didn't want to come back.

Though that was before Stefan convinced her, and decided to go with her. Could you imagine the shock on everyone's face when a red Ferrari pulled up in Beacon Hills high school parking lot to drop off Cassiopeia Miller? To say that people were shock was an understatement.

She hadn't seen her friends since she arrived, and it was already 3rd period. Though she was lucky since she didn't have most class with them, two of them where- however- spent hiding from Lydia and Allison. The two girls were in her art class, and she wasn't ready to face the Argent girl yet. Though something did seem off, the former archer's hand couldn't stop shaking.

By fourth period, she stumbled upon Stiles and Scott who were trying to, and failing at, opening Stiles' locker.

"Yeah, try not to forget we hit the reset button on a supernatural beacon for supernatural creatures.

There's a pretty good chance things are never going back to normal"

Stiles said while failing at opening his locker. Cassiopeia took this as her cue to chuckle, making their heads snap in her direction. First was shock, then was relief, then was happiness. Two large grins formed on the boys faces as they tackled the werewolf girl to the ground.

"You're here"

"You're really here", Scott whispered while hugging the brunette tightly against his chest. He had taken her departure the hardest, after Isaac of course.

"Yes I am-"

"Is this real? Or are you another one of my dreams?"

"I'm really flattered that you dream of me, Stiles", the girl said as his cheeks turned a slight shade of red from embarrassment. "But no, I'm actually real"

Scott helped her get up from the floor, looking behind her as she made conversation with Stiles. That was until she noticed the red shade in the McCall's eyes.

"Oh, dude, your eyes"

"What about them?", he asked in confusion as Cassiopeia turned around to see an Asian girl frozen in place. She was actually kinda cute.

"They're starting to glow"

"You mean like right now?"

"No, five years ago. Of course, right now", Cassiopeia said as if it was obvious. Stiles didn't think it was funny but she did, which was enough to make her chuckle lowly.

The three of them made their way to an empty classroom, Scott not being able to control the colour of his eyes while Cassiopeia had many questions for them.

"1st off, since when are you an Alpha? 2ndly, what's going on here? I leave for five months and you guys are acting worst then Charles Manson"

She asked before seeing Scott starting to shift. Her eyes widened, not only was it the middle of the day but he was standing right in front of the windows.

"Stiles, back up. Now! Scott, hey! Scott", the brunette called out while pushing him away from the windows. His growls grew louder as he sunk his claws in his palms. Blood dripping down his forearm while Stiles held onto Cassiopeia's hand.

This was by far the scariest shifting episode Cassiopeia had ever seen. And she had seen a lot. There was something about seeing your friend in pain that made her stomach do a backflip.

When the werewolf had calmed himself down, the duo made their way towards him. Careful not to startle him before Cassiopeia handed him a water bottle that she always kept in her bag.

"Pain makes you human, Scott", she whispered while taking one of his hand in hers. Blood coating her palms as she grabbed cleaning whips from her bag to disinfect the already healing wounds.

"This isn't just in our heads. This is real. And it's starting to get bad for me too-"

Stiles said as he took a seat next to his best friend, the two boys looking at each other with so much pain it physically hurted her heart.

"- I'm not just having nightmares. I'm having dreams where I have to literally scream myself awake. And sometimes I'm not even sure if I'm actually ever waking up"

"What do you mean?"

"Do you know how you can tell if you're dreaming?"

"You can't read in dreams", the brunette girl mumbled while throwing the blood filled whips in the trash, making sure to cover them so no one would see.

"More and more, the past few days, I've been having trouble reading. It's like I can't see the words. I cant put the letters in order"

Stiles admitted, lowering his head in shame as Cassiopeia rubbed reassuring circles on his back. There was definitely something going on with her friends and she was determined to find out.

"You guys need to tell me everything that's happened since I left. No secrets", the girl told them with a firm expression on her face as the two boys looked at each other. They were slightly worried that she would blame herself for what was happening to them. That she would beat herself up because she decided to leave.

"Guys- I want to know what's going on. I can help"

"How? How can you help, Cas? You weren't here", Stiles snapped harshly as the girl didn't even flinch. She was used to people raising their voices at her.

"Then tell me. Or so better pray to God that when I find out, and you know I will, that I won't rip your throat out with my bare fucking hands"

She angrily spat, tired of being treated like a porcelain doll. The only doll she was ready to be was Bucky's - that's beside the point Cas.

"We have to tell her. She deserves to know"
