Night School²
"There's one right here," Lydia said, gesturing to the ladies bathroom. Jackson scoffed, rolling his eyes.
"Are you kidding me? You have to use the bathroom now?"
"Yes, now," Lydia snapped in response. "You have a problem with my performing a basic biological function?"
"You know, I'm starting to have a problem with all of your functions," Jackson replied. Ellie, who had been all but dragged inside, sent him a glare. Before Lydia or Jackson could say anything, she was smacking the boy over the head. "Ow! What the hell, Ellie?"
"Don't be a dick," she snapped, crossing her arms over her chest.
She looked up and down the hallway, shuddering at the dark and creepy corridor. Lydia snickered, grabbing her best friends arm and dragging her into the bathroom behind her. Elaine waited by the sinks while Lydia did her business, opening her phone and deciding to text Laila. She was most likely with the two boys, and she could find out where they were by texting her.
Little did she know, Laila had left her cellphone in the crappy jeep outside.
"Did you find them?" Lydia asked as she and Ellie came out of the bathroom. Jackson was quiet, staring wide eyed and breathing heavily as she stared down the hallway behind them. Ellie quirked a brow, the two girls glancing behind them. Nothing was there.
"No, no," he replied, scratching at the back of his neck.
Elaine rolled her eyes, looking down at her phone. "I'm gonna call Allison."
"Hey," Allison greeted when she answered the call. "I can't seem to find them."
"Okay, well, let's just go," Ellie said, glancing around the hallway nervously. "Meet us at the lobby."
"Okay, give me a second and I'll be right there."
Laila, Scott, and Stiles pushed open the door to the lobby. Allison rushed over, meeting them in the middle of the room.
"Why did you come?" Scott asked immediately. "What are you doing here?"
"Because you asked me to," Allison replied, looking up at him with furrowed brows. Laila and Stiles shared a confused look.
"I asked you to?" Scott repeated, quirking an eyebrow. In response, Allison showed him the message she got.
"Why do I get the feeling you didn't send this message?" Allison asked, wrapping her arms around herself.
"Because I didn't," Scott told her.
"Did you drive here?" Stiles asked, cutting into the conversation.
Allison shook her head, answering, "Jackson did."
"Jackson's here, too?" Scott asked in annoyance and fear. Laila sighed, rubbing at her forehead.
"And Lydia and Ellie," Allison said quickly. "What's going on? Who sent this text?" Before any of the others could reply, her phone was ringing. She raised her phone to her ear, asking, "where are you?"
