they had gotten a week break from filming, and a plan to pull off the most stealth wedding ever. they didn't have much to work with, but they were determined to make it happen.
china packed quickly and so did cameron. they were taking random things. they just wanted to get out of the cabin.
"i can't believe we're doing this. should we tell our families?" china asked, as she continued to pack.
"i think it's best we tell them after. so they don't try to talk us out of it or slow us down trying to come. i'm sure they'll understand once it's all said and done." he said. she nodded.
"i need a dress." she whispered, looking for something that would due. she looked through her closet and found nothing.
"maybe we can get something there. and maybe we can get rings there too." he added. she nodded in agreement.
"good idea. let's do this." she said, zipping up her bag. they entered the car and headed straight for las vegas, were they planned to aslope.
on the way there, they listened to all kinds of happy music. the energy in the car was strong and amazing.
once they got to the city, they hit up the first dress shop they found and got out of the car they drove.
"i don't want something traditional. i want something that stands out and makes a statement." she explained. the owner took her to the back where colorful dresses were displayed. she ended up going with a royal purple cocktail dress and a veil to match. when they got to the casino, they played a few games for fun. when they won, they went over to the counter to look for rings.
it was hopeless until one caught his eye. it was white gold with a purple diamond in the middle and the matching one was a simple white gold band with tiny purple diamonds in it.
"this one." he whispered. she looked and fell in love immediately. they pointed to it and got it. and then they headed down to the chapel they had booked last minute. they had gotten the license. all that was left was walking down the isle.
there was a pregnant lady in green wig, a magician with a gold tooth, a violinist with long acrylic nails and a dancer in a yellow tutu as their witnesses. all random people who just happened to be in the church. it was wild. but it was perfectly them.
they said their vows and were officially married. the magician somehow let doves out of his pocket, and the violinist played music that the ballerina danced too. it was a funny sight. but tey didn't care. they were married. happy. in love. and that's all that matter. they partied the week away in vegas and told their families afterward. they were shocked, a little disappointed they weren't there, but happy for the couple.
but they didn't tell their parents everything. because you know the saying....what happens in vegas...
