a week on set was about to he completed. to celebrate, the cast of "moon-crossed lovers" decided they would go to a party. the party was being held by an old friend of dove's near by set.

"we'll meet here tonight at six. then we'll go to the party and get something to eat after. that sound good?" dove asked.

"sounds like a plan." the cast agreed. china was excited. she couldn't wait to let loose and party with her friends and cast mates, mostly cameron. cameron felt the same way. work had been stressful for him lately and he just needed a way to chill out.

when they wrapped for the day, everyone went home to get ready for the party. china was excited to do her own makeup for a change. going to set had consisted of her waking up and washing her face and going on to set with a fresh face so the crew could do her make up for the day. now, she could do her own makeup to her liking and feel like china again.

cameron was already planning his outfit on the way back to the cabin. he was so ready for this party. 'i hope it doesn't end up being boring, i just want to have fun tonight', cameron thought.

dove told them the party attire was business casual, emphasis on the casual. since it was autumn, cameron ended up putting on a white button up collar shirt with a burgundy long sleeve sweater over it and some jeans. he was wearing brown loafers and a silver chain. he brushed his curly hair so that it would frame his face. he topped it off with a rolex (because he got money like that).

china was all set on the makeup front. she was wearing a burgundy smokey eye with eyeliner and lashes, a dark red lip. it was the outfit that was giving her trouble. she decided on a black body con dress and a oversized burgundy blazer. her and cameron were always unintentionally matching. she paired the look with white vans and a silver choker. her hair was in low ponytail and she was wearing a white cross body bag.

cameron had been waiting for china to finish getting ready with anticipation. he wanted to see how she looked and he couldn't wait to party. cameron's thoughts were cut off when china walked out of her bathroom. he couldn't help but stare with his jaw on the floor.

"cam? cameron?" china asked, trying to break cameron out of his trance.

"uh-huh?" cameron asked, barely focused on what she was saying. he thought she looked drop dead gorgeous. he couldn't form a thought.

"cameron you look so sharp." china smiled. china loved cam's outfit. she thought it made him look even more handsome if that was even possible.

"come on, we're going to be late." china said, chuckling. she pulled cameron up and led him to the car. after about a ten minute drive/jam session, the two arrived at the set with the cast waiting on them.

"china, cameron! you guys look great. and you're matching." dove cheered.

"thanks, girl. you look amazing, too. let's get this party started." china smiled. she started to dance and everyone looked at her weirdly.

"that's why your an actress..." cam joked.

"boy, shut up. not all of us were in a dance crew as kids. some of us were in movies." china said, flipping her hair.

"chi, we were in two movies together when we were kids." cameron said. china playfully rolled her eyes.

"man, whatever. let's just go. i've been looking forward to this party all day." china exclaimed. the cast got into dove's mini van and hit the road. the party was about thirty minutes away from location, so the entire ride was a 2000's music jam session. britney spears, destiny's child, all of those artists were blasting in the car the whole ride to the house.

when the cast arrived at the house, the party was well underway. you could hear music pumping and you could smell the alcohol from a mike away.

"looks like we're getting crunk tonight!" dove smirked.

"good thing we have a two day break." cameron smiled as he lead china into the party behind dove.

immediately the crew ran into old friends and everyone started saying hi. china ran into her old cast-mate, rome flynn from a movie she did a couple years ago.

"hey rome! it's been awhile. how have you been?" china smiled.

"i've been great. how have you been? you look amazing." rome said.

"i've been working, you know me." china responded.

"all work, no play. i remember. so what brings you here." rome asked.

"i'm working on this movie, and we just did a week of shooting so this is how we wanted to wind down from work." china explained. then, megan thee stallion came on.

"oh my gosh, i love this song." china screamed.

"then why are we still here? let's go dance." rome said. he lead her on the dance floor as the beat started to drop. cameron watched as the two were having the time of their lives on the dance floor. it looked like they had known each other their entire lives. cams don't wasn't the jealous type at all, or at-least he tried not to be. but this was china. the girl he's been in love with for years.

cam approached the dancing couple. he tapped china's shoulder.

"hey, you hungry? thirsty? let's go get something to eat." cam said, taking her hand.

"no, i'm good. maybe later?" china responded. she continued to dance with rome. cameron had to think fast. without giving it too much thought, he grabbed dove and they started dancing.

china didn't notice until the people started cheering for cam and dove. a little sting of jealousy hit her. 'when did they start dancing? they look like they're having the best time. i wish cam and i were dancing right now. he's really good at it', china thought.

when the song ended, the crowd dispersed and continued to go on about their day. china walked up to cameron.

"hey, cam? wanna go dance or something?" china asked.

"oh, so now you wanna hang out." cam said.

"cameron i was just dancing with an old friend, no need to get all petty with it." china responded.

"well, i'm sorry but i don't wanna be the second choice. the choice that you choose when you have nothing else." cam said.

"you're not to me. i-i...i like you a lot." china responded.

"i'll talk to you later," cameron said. in a slight slip in judgment, china started to drink. a lot. shots, beer, tequila, anything. by the end of the night, she was stumbling. like it was planned, dove ran up to her.

"hey, i really like cam. should i go for it?" dove asked. china thought her head was stilling spinning.

"huh? sorry what did you say?" china said.

"i-...will get it back to you."
