china hadn't spoken to cameron all day. aside from scenes they had to film, she wouldn't even look at him. the night she found out about the kiss, she slept in the living room. and hasn't slept in bed since.
cameron was trying to get her to talk to him all day. but she wouldn't budge.
"china let me explain, please." cameron said. china pretended as if he weren't even there. then dove walked up.
"hey china! hey cameron." she said, smiling at cam.
"can i pull china away for a second?" dove asked.
"sure, she's already miles away from here." cameron said, mumbling the last part. dove pulled china aside.
"hey, i need a favor. do you think you could maybe ask cameron how he feels about me? i'd ask but his uber-focused right now and i don't want to disturb him. he's only talking to his scene partners for the day." dove explained.
"i would, but cam and i aren't really speaking right now." china said.
"why? what happened?" dove asked. china hesitated.
"we got into an argument about something, nothing big." china lied.
"well this would be a good reason to make up. and plus, like you said it's nothing big. y'all are the bestest friends i've ever seen. y'all shouldn't let a petty argument get in the way." dove said. china was about to say no but dove beat her to it.
"he's coming. act natural." she said. cameron showed up.
"china has to talk to you." dove blurted. china looked at dove with a "girl-what-the-hell" look.
"really? finally. let's go to my trailer." cameron said, grabbing china's arm and dragging her to the trailer. he closed the door and sat down. she was still standing.
"so, what is it?" cameron asked. china wanted to leave, but part of her wanted to stay.
"come on, chi. please talk to me." he said, standing up to grab her hands. she still wouldn't look at him though. he took his finger and lifted her chin so she'd look at him.
"i can't stand the thought of you hating me." he whispered. that broke china's heart. her eyes began to tear up.
"dove wanted to know what you think of her. but you must think of her highly since you kissed her." china said, tears starting to drop.
"she kissed me. i...i just didn't stop her," cameron said.
"why? do you see why i have self-esteem issues? you say i'm pretty and that i should love myself but the first chance you get to go off with a perfect blonde princess you do!" china said, getting angry.
"it's not like that. one, i was a tipsy. my reaction-time was off. two, i didn't kiss back! china, i don't know how many times i have to tell you that i love you. when i kiss you, i feel like i'm walking on air. when i'm around you, i don't think about anything else. i could see you everyday for the rest of my life and be happy. i don't know how else to express it to you. shit, i'll get down on one knee in this freaking trailer if you want me to. just say the words." cameron ranted. china was feeling a whole whirl of emotions. one being overwhelmed. the room started spinning for her.
"china?" cameron said, worried. china was swaying back and forth until she finally collapsed in the trailer, leaving cameron screaming for help.
