Chapter 7

(Sakuras POV:)

I woke up and looked at the clock. It was 6 AM. I was an hour late. I got up and quickly got dressed into an outfit my mom gave me when I got home yesterday.

I decided to skip breakfast like Kakashi told us to. I took off down the street, only a few shops open and a few people wandering. A few glanced at me in surprise. I was up really early.

I made it to the training ground without breaking a sweat.

"You're late!" Naruto yelled, pointing at me. Ignoring him I jumped into the tree he was under and laid down, waiting for Kakashi. I went to sleep without a care in the world.

"Oi! Pinky!" I opened my eyes slowly and saw Kakashi standing in front of me on the branch. Sighing I got up and jumped down, waiting for him to explain the exercise. Once he started, I zoned out.

I saw naruto ran at him with a kunai only for Kakashi to counter it with ease.

"Start!"

I jumped into a tree and ran around quietly, covering my chakra. I caught sight of neon blue in another tree and smirked.

The smirk was wiped off my face as soon as I saw what was most likely a shadow clone watching him from behind. I acted like I didnt see it and landed next to Sasuke.

He jumped slightly and opened his mouth. I slammed my hand on his mouth and made a gesture to tell him to stay quiet. I pulled my hand back and he glared at me.

"Sasuke. Can we work together? Hes a Jounin and we're only Genin." I whispered, knowing Kakashi's clone heard me.

He glared twice as hard and before I could react, slapped me.

"You'll only slow me down. And you're a fangirl! Why would I work with you?" My jaw had dropped at how cruel he was. Not only that, but he yelled, giving us away before leaving me alone, in a place where sensei knew we were.

I touched my cheek with a frown. He was such an ass. I heard a yell and turned to see Naruto fall for Kakashi's trap. Kakashi said something and left. Instantly, I threw my blade and cut him down.

I caught him before he hit the ground before and gently set him down.

"Thanks Sakura-Chan!" He shouted, about to run off.

"Wait Naruto! Can we work together?" He paused, making me hopeful.

But as usual, the world hates me. "Sorry but if I want to be Hokage, I need to work alone!" I groaned the second he disappeared.

"At least one of you understands this exercise. But what will you do now that your team left you?" I moved my head to the side and saw Kakashi looking at me slightly proud.

"Even if I dont win or get a bell, I'll try to give you one hell of a fight!" I lunged throwing a fast punch.

He sidestepped and smirked. I kept running at him, attacking at every chance. Despite my new powers, I cant use them and I'm not as good at hand to hand as him.

Then it clicked. I summoned my sword and slashed, hardly missing his cheek. His eyes shot open and he pulled out a Kunai. But the closer i looked at his the more I realized what was wrong. I was in a genjutsu.

Breaking out, I saw him and was about to attack when the alarm went off. I backed down and put my sword away. We went to the logs and I saw Naruto tied to one. I sat down and once again zoned out until he called my name.

"Sakura would you please tell them what this was about?" I glanced at the others that looked guilty and confused.

"Teamwork."

I looked away and zoned out as normal. I was like Muichiro from demon slayer. I zoned out all the time.

(A/n: Im not doing the rest of the bell test. It was the same as the anime.)

With Kakuzu and Hidan(3rd POV):

Hidan and Kakuzu stared up at the house they had been pointed to opened the door. There was no one inside, but there was a note on the table. It said that her parents would be back in a few months.

Hidan smirked. "Looks like we will have an easy time getting this bitch."
