Sonic and his friends were still knocked out from Knuckles' accidental attack. They were in comfy beds, but felt uncomfortable. Sonic and Amy were waking up, feeling a little dizzy.
"Ugh. What happened?" Sonic said.
"We must've gotten knocked out when Knuckles came out from the portal." Amy said putting her hand on her forehead.
"And something must've happened to us, because it doesn't look like we're hedgehogs anymore, Amy." Sonic said talking about their appearance.
Sonic and Amy got out of their bed as they went to wake up Tails and Knuckles. Tails was woken up with ease but Knuckles was still sleeping.
"Get your hands off of my Master Emerald Rouge!" Knuckles said in his sleep.
"Must be dreaming about Angel Island." Tails said as he chuckled.
Knuckles woke up as he saw Sonic, Amy, and Tails were okay.
"Sonic. Tails. Amy. You guys are okay." Knuckles said seeing everyone was alright. "But what happened to you guys?"
"We don't even know." Amy said. "Me and Sonic wondered when we woke up."
"But from judging on our appearance, it looks like we got sucked in the game." Tails explained.
Sonic heard from outside their room with his sensitive hearing from his hedgehog ears, 2 people were talking from somewhere else.
"Does anyone hear that?" Sonic asked. "Sounds like someone else is here."
"Must be coming from another room." Tails replied hearing the same voices outside the room from his fox ears.
"Well, let's check it out." Amy said as everyone else agreed.
Sonic, Tails, Amy, and Knuckles went up to the door and opened it. They were lead out to another room, which looked like some big mansion.
"Where are we?" Amy said.
"It looks like we're in some sort of mansion." Sonic replied.
Sonic, Tails, and Amy heard with their animal ears, behind them 2 faint female voices coming near them as they turned around, almost fainting. Knuckles turned around facing the two females without feeling scared.

"Oh, they're awake..." The girl in green said.
"We're sorry we scared you." The girl in pink said apologizing.
"It's fine." Sonic said accepting their apology.
"It took a while for you to wake up, but we're glad you're okay." The girl in pink replied. "I'm Callie, and this is Marie. Who are you guys?"
"I'm Sonic. Sonic Ogilvie." Sonic introduced himself.
"I'm Miles Prower. But my friends call me by my nickname Tails." Tails said introducing himself.
