Righting wrongs pt. 2
Zak and myself continued talking about what happened earlier until one thing he said got my attention...
Zak: I wonder what our life would be like if we never met...
I thought about what to say but my mind went blank
Sophia: I often wonder the same thing myself some days but no matter what happens between us, I don't regret ever meeting you.
Zak: I don't regret meeting you either and I am sorry about how I acted earlier at the office.
Sophia: I forgive you Zak and next time please tell me that you want some space.
Zak: I promise I will tell you.
We hung out for the remainder of the day just reminiscing about our past together and things we did when we were apart, it felt nice to catch up without having to be rushed to work which was something that I had to do in several hours, I wasn't going to let him know but I was enjoying his company...
Zak: so do you want to do something?
Sophia: I would love to but I have a plane to catch early in a few hours, maybe we can hang out when I return if you aren't busy...
Zak: I will let you know, how long will you be gone?
Sophia: two days at the most...
Zak: where are you headed?
Sophia: New York, I have an interview and a photoshoot with a male model who I will be traveling to California with from there...
Zak: do you need me to go with you?
Sophia: you aren't getting jealous are you?
Zak: no I'm just wanting to looking out for you, someone has to keep you safe.
Sophia: you really don't have to do that, you don't owe me any favors... I can protect myself
Zak: I didn't mean it that way, I know you can protect yourself but not everyone is nice...
Sophia: Zak please don't do this now... I will talk with you when I return.... Go home and get some rest...
I watched as he left even though him walking away felt like I would never see him again but I knew it would be something that I was going to have to get over eventually...
