~(Y/n)'s pov~
It took a long while for (Y/n) to talk himself into leaving his hiding place amongst the trees. He spent most of the day there. During that time, he was mostly ranting to Janice (until the ant was able to escape (Y/n) and his blabbering mess of emotions) and blasting his moody playlist (yes he has a moody playlist. Don't judge him).
It wasn't until the correct song came on that he decided that he no longer wanted to spend time in the forest. He was officially done with everything and just wanted to take a nap and get hugs.
He basically put himself on autopilot, not thinking of anything except the music that was currently playing through his earbuds. That is, until he found himself on a certain psychic's doorstep and he realized he'd have to interact with other people.
He just silently prayed that no one would ask too many questions. He stopped his music and knocked on the door. A few moments later, and the door opened, revealing Kurumi. A smile appeared on her face when she saw him.
"Hello, (Y/n)!" She chirped, wasting no time in pulling him into a hug. "Hey, Ms. Saiki" He answered, gladly returning the hug. When they separated, Kurumi gave a small laugh. "I told you, you can just call me Kurumi" She said.
"Ah, right" He said before pausing, "Is Kusuo home?" The black haired woman gave him a nod, stepping away from the doorway to let him in. "Thanks, Kurumi" (Y/n) said, waving at her for some reason.
As he walked up the stairs, the smile that he wore quickly faded into a blank expression. He loved Kurumi --he really did--, but he was still kind of in autopilot and even he didn't know what he was doing there.
He didn't make up his mind as to what he'd do until he got to Kusuo's room. Even then, he was still kinda winging it.
(Y/n) hesitated before he was going to knock on the door. He was acting entirely on impulse. What if that came back to bite him? He shook his head. (Y/n) was already mentally drained, he really didn't need his usual overthinking to throw on top of the stress.
So, he mushed down all of the doubt that threatened to erupt in his mind and knocked on the door.
~Saiki's pov~
Saiki wasn't easy to startle. Actually it was impossible.
Except for that exact moment.
He heard someone knock on the door, but he couldn't hear the thoughts of said person. Nendou? No, I doubt he'd knock. He hesitated, but still opened the door.
Standing there with a blank expression was (Y/n). What was so shocking about that was the fact that Saiki couldn't read his mind. Instead, it was that weird fuzzy-static thing that happened when the boy was drawing.
Saiki didn't have much time to think about it as (Y/n) took him by the arm and pushed him onto the bed. The (h/c) haired boy closed the door before flopping onto Saiki. He let out a sigh before making himself comfortable on the psychic's chest.
"Sorry you have to be dragged into this, but I just feel like cuddles" (Y/n) muttered. This did not end in the way I thought it would. Saiki laid there, completely frozen. He wasn't expecting any of this -- whatever this was.
(Y/n) himself seemed at home curled up on Saiki's chest. The male was obviously stressed --more so that usual--, but he seemed content where he was.
Meanwhile, it took most of Saiki's willpower to keep his powers from breaking everything in the house. He had no idea how (Y/n) could be so comfortable while he was laying there with a heart that was about to burst from his chest.
"Hey" (Y/n) said, snapping the psychic out of his thoughts, "It doesn't count of you don't hug me back". Saiki faintly heard something in another room crash to the ground the second (Y/n) finished talking.
He sent a telepathic apology to his mom before hesitantly wrapping his arms around the (h/c) haired boy. Oddly enough, the static-fuzz that came from (Y/n)'s mind was calming -- in an eerie kind of way.
"I'm sorry you have to deal with me" (Y/n) said out of no where, "I know you're not a very touchy person and I didn't even ask if you were okay with this". His arms relaxed, telling Saiki that he could push him away without ever physically saying anything.
Despite that, Saiki didn't let go. After all, he was comfortable just holding the boy.
Saiki knew that letting (Y/n) get this close to him --both physically and emotionally-- would most likely become bothersome later down the road. So, he weighed his options.
Why Saiki should distance himself from (Y/n):
- Relationships brought attention
- He didn't know that much about (Y/n)
- (Y/n) has a weird father-son view on Kaido
Why Saiki should continue to cuddle (Y/n):
- (Y/n)'s company isn't that bad
- .... Okay, his company is really nice
Seeing as the cons outweighed the pros, Saiki knew it was for the best to stop being around (Y/n) before the (h/c) haired boy got closer than he already was. That being said...
Saiki couldn't bring himself to push him away.
(Y/n), what are you doing to me?
Speaking of, (Y/n) looked just as deep in thought as Saiki. Unlike the psychic, (Y/n) had a frown on his face as he complicated.. something
Suddenly, Saiki became a bit more bothered by his inability to read the boy's mind. What was he thinking so hard about? On that note, why was he so upset when he arrived? "Hey, Saiki? Or Kusuo. I never know if it's been long enough to call you by your first name" (Y/n) muttered the last part before shaking his head, "Not the point. I actually have something I need to tell you".
"Actually, I really don't know if I should or not, but something... came up and I'm starting to question a lot of things, so I feel like now would be a good time" (Y/n) said, obviously getting more nervous with every word.
(Y/n) got up and sat at the foot of the psychic's bed. Saiki raised an eyebrow, but followed in suit, sitting up and watching the fidgety male. "Okay" (Y/n) said, nodding to himself, "Just don't -- don't freak out. Not that I think you will, knowing you, but still".
"I'm not from this world"
