Wow, I could've worded that better.

(Y/n) took a deep breath, trying to calm himself before he got to explaining himself. "I mean, I'm from Earth; just not this Earth" Damn it, (Y/n)! Get it together! (Y/n) paused for a second, getting his brain to work.

"Basically, I'm from another dimension. If that makes any sense" He explained. He searched Saiki's face for any sort of reaction. Saiki's face was blank, but his eyes held flickers of intrigue. Please say something. I'm struggling!

(Y/n) received no response, but he continued on with his train wreck of an explanation. "It's also the reason I've stayed over so much, why I run off at random times, and how I knew you were a psychic" He admitted, "It's because --and I'm completely certain that I should not be telling you this-- In my world, you and everyone else you interact with are all from an anime".

(Y/n)'s eyes refused to meet Saiki's. Instead, he trained them on the place where the floor met the wall behind Saiki. "I know it sounds crazy.. It-- it is crazy, but it's true" (Y/n) said. The two lapsed into silence, a silence that (Y/n) swore he was drowning in. Please say something!

Despite (Y/n)'s pleas, Saiki still watched him with an interested and thoughtful look, but he didn't acknowledge his thoughts. Are you gonna make me beg out loud? Still no reaction.

That's when it hit him. "Wait, can you not read my mind?" (Y/n) asked, studying Saiki's face. He seemed surprised by his words. 'I can't' Saiki's voice echoed through (Y/n)'s mind, causing the boy to jump, 'How did you figure it out so fast?'

"Wait, so all of that stuff I did to keep you from figuring everything out was for nothing?" (Y/n) asked with a frown. 'Not quite. Up until this morning, I could read your mind just like everyone else' Saiki said, 'But even then, I still figured out that you weren't from this world'.

(Y/n) let out a sigh of defeat. "Kinda wish you said that sooner" he grumbled to himself before snapping out of it and going back to questioning, "Wait, you said you couldn't read my mind until recently, right?" he asked, earning a nod from the other boy, "What if it's some sort off mental block? I mean, I was upset so maybe I'm subconsciously putting one up?"

'That's not how it works, but okay' Saiki replied.

Despite Saiki's words, (Y/n) took a few deep breaths, trying to put his stress on the backburner for a bit. After a few seconds, he turned his attention back to the pink haired psychic. "Okay, I'm gonna think something and tell me if you hear it" he said, once again getting a nod from Saiki.

I bet organists are good drivers. (Y/n) waited a few seconds for any sort of reaction. "Nothing?" He asked. Saiki shook his head, looking rather annoyed at the whole situation. Okay, so it's not a mental block? Or maybe it is? Why must telepathy be so confusing?!

'Why are you telling me all of this now?' Saiki asked, bringing the conversation back on track. (Y/n) fidgeted with the hem of his shirt. "Funny you should ask.." A nervous laugh came from the boy before he continued, "I ran into your brother and he kinda made a mess of all of my plans".

'Wait, what did he do?' Saiki asked with a sigh (which was an interesting experience for the boy at the receiving end of said mental sigh). There were a few seconds of silence before (Y/n) answered. "Well, he basically told me that he knew that I wasn't from this world --despite us never talking up until that point-- and that he knew how to get me back home" (Y/n) said.

"Up until now, I was waiting for a specific time" he continued, "Some time when I wouldn't mess with the timeline by mentioning where I'm from. That's when I was gonna ask you for help. I thought that out of everyone you'd be the best one to go to" (Y/n) gave a sigh, "But Kusuke got to it first".

"But see, the thing is, I got to thinking and.. I'm not entirely sure I want to go back" (Y/n) admitted, "I mean, I should, but I-.. I don't know..." (Y/n) thought back to his life before waking up in that schoolyard-- something he was quickly realizing wasn't his favorite thing to do.

"My life wasn't really anything special" he admitted in a hushed tone, "I never talked to anyone so no one talked to me. It got pretty lonely after a while..." (Y/n) shook his head, ridding his mind of such thoughts, "But now that I'm here, there are people who want to spend time with me. I know you're not big on talking, but I've liked your company best. I guess.. I got caught up in it and I'm no longer sure if I want to go back to my boring, lonely life".

(Y/n) paused for a moment, "Did that sound weird? I didn't mean for it to sound weird". He was vaguely aware of the blush that was creeping onto his face. 'I.. I like your company too' Saiki said, 'But it does sound weird when you admit it sounds weird'.

"I-.. yeah that makes sense" He muttered. This chapter is a mess. "But, I feel bad" (Y/n) said, his mood quickly nose diving, but he was unable to stop himself. He hadn't been able to tell anyone about this and the moment he's able to, everything just flows from his mouth without him being able to stop it. "I don't know how much time has passed, but I'm sure my family or friends are worried about me. Or did the world just rewrite itself to where I never existed? Or maybe--"

'Okay, now you're just worrying yourself' Saiki said, ending the boy's rant before it spiraled more out of control. Not trusting his mouth, (Y/n) just nodded. With that, the two lapsed back into silence.

It lasted a long time before it was broken by (Y/n)'s quiet voice, "I know you're not a very cuddly person but can I get another hug? It was really nice the first time". Despite asking the question, (Y/n) was almost certain the answer would be no, so he didn't move any and just left his gaze on the bed.

He heard Saiki give a sigh before he felt himself lift off of the bed. The invisible force (which (Y/n) quickly realized was Saiki) placed the boy on Saiki's lap. 'I think your cuddly-ness is rubbing off on me. Please stop it' Saiki said, but he didn't push (Y/n) away. Instead he pulled him into a hug.

After a few seconds, (Y/n) returned the hug. After being emotionally drained and probably telling Saiki way too much than he should've, the feeling of another warm body against his was just what he needed.

It was nice.

Sorry the chapter is a short mess (much like the person who wrote it), but the next chapter will make a lot more sense. I think. I'm sorry if Saiki was a bit off personality-wise. Honestly, I've had to bring myself back to the main point of the story on several occasions so lets just go with I tried.

Like I said, the next chapter will be better quality (hopefully) and a bit longer. Until then, y'all have to deal with chaos and cuddles. So yeah. Okay bye bye
