~Saiki's pov~

The two walked in comfortable silence until it was broken by the sound of over confidence and yelling. "Hey pink hair! Why don't you and your friend join the fun?" The man yelled.

Saiki glanced over at (Y/n). He had a calm look on his face, but his mind told a different story. 'Damn it! He's using my own child-like wonder against me! Of course I want to watch' His mind screamed. "I'll do a trick if you put a smile on that face!" Nakanishi said with a large grin.

(Y/n)'s face broke out in a small smile while he gave Saiki a pleading look. Saiki kept his aloof expression, wanting nothing more than to walk away. "Oh, I see you're a skeptic. Well, once you see my show, you'll become a believer in my powers to amaze" the green haired man said, punctuating his sentence with a laugh.

'I'm sorry Saiki, but I have the mind of a child and I need to see this!' (Y/n) thought. He gave Saiki one last glance before joining the group. Fine, I'll watch. Just so he leaves me alone and I can collect my mental toddler in peace. He took a few steps forward, standing beside (Y/n),

After a weird box trick, a man who looked like he was ran over by a bus walked over to the group. He climbed into one of the boxes and began to 'teleport' while Nakanishi made weird drumroll noises.

"Alright, let's open the box!" He said, walking over to the box. Uh oh, lovely Mike isn't done teleporting yet. "Three, two, one, it's party time!" Nakanishi yelled. As he did, Mike popped out of the red curtain behind him.

(Y/n) let out a soft laugh as people started to walk away. The green haired male gave Mike a horrified look, causing the (h/c)ette's laugh to become a bit louder.

After everyone walked away, the two started to argue about payment before they realized Saiki and (Y/n) where still there. "Hey, why are you two hanging around?" Nakanishi paused as Saiki pointed to the top of his head, "Oh, you wanna give me a tip?," he let out a small laugh, "I could never take money from a kid the look of joy on your face is-" He took off his hat, noticing the suffocated dove inside, "PICO!!"

A few minutes later, Nakanishi was petting the small dove, giving her ((In the dubbed the dove is female and in the subbed the dove is male. Since I listen to the dubbed while writing this, I just went with female pronouns)) time to breathe.

He even let (Y/n) pet her head, which the (h/c)ette was really happy about. He turned to Saiki, "So you weren't trying to tip me, you where trying to remind me. Wait does that mean," Saiki stiffened up but stopped when the greenette continued, "That you're a magician? That's how you knew she was up there". I should have kept walking.

Saiki glanced at (Y/n). The (h/c) haired male had all but kidnapped the dove, petting the bird (who was now in his lap) with a happy smile on his face. Or maybe not. Saiki froze. Where did that come from?

By this time, Nakanishi monologuing about how he ended up as an illusionist. Nope, I should have defiantly kept walking. Is it too late to walk away?

(Y/n) had given the bird his complete attention. Saiki didn't have to read his mind to know he wasn't leaving anytime soon.

"Sorry, didn't mean to get so gloomy" Nakanishi said turning towards Saiki. What will it take for him to give up? "Let's get back to your background as an illusionist and how you knew I had a dove up there" He said. That's it.

Saiki held out his bag. "Whoa, gonna pull something out of your bag?" The illusionist asked. I'll do a trick that's so beyond his ability, he'll realize how far gone he is and give up. "You're gonna pull out a dove, well, I'll have you know that I can do a bowling ball" Nakanishi said with a smile.
