(Y/n) woke up in the middle of the night and bit back a startled yelp. He did not want to wake Saiki because of a stupid nightmare. It was eerily similar to the one he had when he passed out. The shadow demon thing was there, along with the burning cold hands. Although that time, dream (Y/n) was in his room-- or at least, a darker version of his room.

Unlike the previous time he had that dream, where his body felt heavy and limp, he could still moving around just fine and nothing hurt. Instead of a physical response, (Y/n) was left with the overhanging feeling that he had forgotten something major. He stared out into the darkness of Saiki's room, trying to remember what he had forgotten.

There was nothing due the next day for school, there was no where he had to be, his mother said she would not be able to call for a few days so he did not miss that, he had taken a shower before going to bed, what would it--....

Wait...

Of course his mom would not be able to call him. It was impossible to call someone across detentions ((Y/n) knows from personal experiences). But then, why did (Y/n) have the feeling that he should be listening out for his mother calling him again?

Again?! It hadn't happened in the first place!

(Y/n) forced his eyes shut and curled his legs closer to him a bit. Wow I really need to get a normal sleeping schedule. Despite that, he found himself unable to go back to sleep. He moved slowly and a quiet as possible to get out of Saiki's grasp.

It was surprisingly easy. Despite the movement and sound of the sheets shifting against itself, Saiki did not stir.

(Y/n) found it adorable that the psychic slept like a baby. To be fair, he had to learn to sleep through hundreds of people's thoughts filling his head. (Y/n) took a few seconds to allow himself to be jealous (and lets be serious. We all know he did a bit of admiring too) of Saiki's good looks before continuing on his mission.

He snuck out of the room and down the stairs to the living room that was void of life. He took a seat on the sofa and stared off into the empty room for a few seconds. While doing so, he tried to remember anything that might have seemed off.

(Y/n)'s eyes widened as a memory that was not his own flashed across his mind. "Holy shit..." He muttered. How had he not noticed it before? A violent shudder raced up and down his spine at the realization that his memories were being tampered with somehow.

And the memory that caused this? Well....

~~~~~
(Y/n) adjusted the strap of his book bag as he stared up at the airport building. Was that building always that big? Or maybe it was just because it was his fist time traveling by plane alone. He did not dwell on it for long. If he did, his plane would leave with out him.
It was almost surreal. In a few hours, he would be in Japan. Once there, he could finally _-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_, which was the only reason he was going in the first place. (Y/n) did not bother trying to stop the smile that overtook his face. Only a few more hours.
~~~~~

(Y/n) suddenly found himself feeling uncomfortable in his own skin. That memory... It was not his. Well, it was but it wasn't. First of all, that was not even close to how he got where he was! What actually happened was.... Well he.... It was actually...

(Y/n) groaned and reached a shaking hand up to grip his hair. "W-why..." His panicked voice trailed off, "Why can't I remember?!" His breathing became shaky and almost doubled in pace as his grip on his hair tightened.

He pulled his knees to his chest. He kept repeating "I'm going crazy" for several minutes, all the while freaking himself out and making the panicked feeling worse. He rubbed his hands over his face in a pointless attempt to calm himself.
