A New Threat

A/N: OKAY, PLEASE FORGIVE ME IF I GET ANYTHING WRONG!! 

THIS MAY BE A SPOILER FOR THE CHAPTER, BUT I HAVENT FINISHED WATCHING HUNTER X HUNTER, MEANING I DON'T KNOW ALL OF WHAT HAPPENS IN THE CHIMERA ANT ARC. SINCE THIS IS AN AU, I'M GOING TO PRETEND THAT THE CHIMERA ANTS USED IN THIS STORY ALL SURVIVED, SO SORRY IF THEY HAD ALREADY DIED IN THE SHOW

Izuku POV

      It has been two days since I changed my last name. My classmates and teachers are all struggling to adjust to the change, and I don't blame them. I mean, it's only the first two days. Plus, I know how weird it feels to refer to me as "Freecss". I personally don't like how unnatural it sounds, so I've just been telling everyone to start calling me Deku instead.

     Today, I was sitting in English class listening to Present Mic rant on and on about the 'H' in "School" should be replaced with a 'K' to make more sense with the English pronunciation. As per usual. But something inside me felt off. I could just feel it- something wrong was going to happen.

     And my guts were right.

     Suddenly, a powerful disturbance shook the building, causing mass chaos. People screamed as some were knocked out of their chairs while others had their pencils and school supplies fly halfway across the room. I, unfortunately, had been one of the lucky ones who fell to the ground.

     Then as abruptly as it had come,  the disturbance had stopped.

     I quickly sat up and looked around the room. Thankfully, no one looked injured, and the others who had fallen out of their chairs began to stand up again. Everyone was silent with shock. What in the world could have been strong enough to cause such a powerful disturbance?

Everyone had their guards up. For all we knew, this could be another villain attack. 

Everyone's heads snapped toward the school speaker as the voice of the principal spoke.

     "Hello, students. As you probably just experienced, an unexpected disturbance has just hit UA. There are three unidentified and extremely dangerous beings on campus right now. We are entering a Code Red. This means that all students and staff must be evacuated from the school as soon as possible. This is NOT a drill. Under no circumstances will any students be taking part in combat. Students, follow your teachers outside the building and over by the UA entrance. We will then take a headcount and wait for the backup to arrive. Move quickly and evacuate the building." said Nezu. 

     Everyone began to panic as I spaced out. "Could this attack have something to do with me changing my last name? Is it one of my fathers' enemies?" I thought. "No, no. It can't. I mean, sure, I was fully expecting to be attacked sometime soon, but I thought it would've been at least two weeks before anything happened. It's only been two days, they couldn't have found me that quickly." I began to tremble a bit, but stopped myself and shook my head. "Stop that, Izuku! You're just working yourself up over a villain attack. You don't even know who these people are. They could just be some new recruits from the League of Villains. Though that isn't much better..."

     I woke up from my daze and noticed Present Mic gathering everyone up at the door. Pushing my thoughts to the back of my head, I stood up and joined my classmates as we ran down the hallway towards the Emergency Exit.

     We jumped down the stairs and ran through hallways so fast that we should've been given detention. That would have been what happened if we weren't, y'know, in the middle of a Code Red with three very dangerous villains on campus who we know nothing about and are probably here to seek revenge on my parents by attacking me. Yay...! No detention.
