Chapter 5: DEVIL IS BACK!!

Vishwa's Point of View,

It's been 8 years that love with you. The first girl in my life, who ruling my heart for rest of my life it's you. Thanks to the rain for showing you. If the rain didn't happen means you never showed up in my life. That day the most beautiful day in my life. I was waiting for bus go to Railway Station because of my transfer to Mumbai city but I didn't like the transfer at all, I don't want to leave this city. I want to stay with my mother and take care of her. After my father's death my mother who stay with me, protect me as father, treat me as a friend and made me as a Police Officer today. Now I can't leave her alone because of my work. But still I have to go. When I thinking of that, rain started to fall heavily, everyone in surrounding try to hide themselves from drenched in rain. Some people came inside the bus stop as well. I am still in my thoughts, and wore my rain coat and covered my face with mask as well for protect me from drenched and I looked around.

Suddenly, I heard an old man was screaming. Everyone in the surrounding also screaming. I stepped out from bus stop to look what happened. I was keep on searching what happened and I found you. You were sitting on middle of the road and a bus coming in front you. The bus driver also didn't stop because he didn't aware you were there plus it's raining heavily. I was hell shocked and I ran towards you. In flash of seconds I grabbed your wrist and picked you up, moved from the bus. I was angry on you because I thought you were attempting suicide but...when I see you, you were holding three puppies which stuck at the manhole on road. You were literally drenched and consoling the puppies saying' don't worry! you guys going to be alright.' I was looking at your innocent face and listening childish speech with the puppies plus, I was smiling at you.

You looked at me and thanked me, you went from there. I looked at eyes when you thanking me. That time I lost myself to you. Love at first sight, I never believe in it until it's happened to you. You even didn't aware what happened just now. My heart says go behind her. My mind says don't go you have train to fetch. A fight began with heart and mind. Who will win?? Few minutes later, I was standing a veterinarian clinic by following her. She even admits the puppies to the adoption center but she took one puppy from there to rinse him as pet. She named him "Mani" but unfortunately he dead 2 years back due to car accident to save you.

Coming back to past, the same day I met you, I didn't fetch the train plus, my transfer has been cancelled and I was very happy because of I'm going to stay with my mother forever. I thought you have sent by the cupid. After that day, I was following you. I know following a girl is bad and interfering in personal life. But I couldn't control myself from following you. I still remember you wore Purple saree for Cultural event. You were telling your friends that "first time you wearing a Saree." When you taking photos with your friend, I tried my level best to take your picture and I did. The photo of you I saved as wallpaper and until now I didn't change it. I am love with you. I even told my mother about you and my love. She advised me to not follow you and just go meet you and speak to you.

The next day, it's your convocation day and I received work to come to your college as protection for the chief guest. But I was standing in front of house and looking at entrance of your house and thinking when you will come. When I saw you, I stunned with your beauty. You were wearing Yellow Anarkali Dress with minimal make up on your face. You looked beautiful in that dress. You were tensed because of your Scotty punctured. You walked to bus stop near your house. You looked very nervous and tensed because you getting late to your convocation and first time you are using bus. I couldn't see you like that I remembered my mother's advice and I came there, speak to you. I travelled with you, I protected you, I proud for your achievement. We started to be friends. When, you came and asked to marry you, that's my happiest day in my life. But I scared, I scared of if anything happens to you because of my work. I still remember, because of my work, my mother was about to die. I don't want to happen anything like that to you. That's why I decide to say no to your question. But I want stay with you for rest of my live...

Now, see what kadavul as set for us!! I arrested you for helping a murderer. I feeling guilty right now because of yesterday night I scolded you aggressively. Why you came yesterday night? What is the important matter you want to tell me? When I heard you war missing, I was lost myself, cannot breathe well and couldn't think what happen to you. When I saw from your house window, I took a relieved breath and became calm. At the same time, I saw your face, I knew something happened and you are hiding something. When Rakshan telling the information, I knew you are in danger and I have to save you. I have to stay with you and find the truth. When I handcuffed you, I promised myself I will protect you until my last breath. Finally, the last word you said to me, looking at me with the teary eyes, please help me Vishwa still hearing in to my mind and heart. What happened to you MAYA???

Constable: Sir?? Sir?? (tapping Vishwa's shoulder)

Vishwa came back to reality.

Constable: Sir. We came to Police Station Sir.

Vishwa nodded Yes and turned behind to see Maya. She still looking down and thinking something. A lady constable came to Police Car and bring Maya to interrogation room. Vishwa and Sarath followed behind, Rakshan came out seeing all these, walk towards to Vishwa.

Rakshan: Vishwa, Nee ok va?? (Vishwa, Are you ok??)

Vishwa nooded Yes. But Rakshan and Sarath knew he is in pain. After that, Vishwa go to interrogation room and looking at Maya from One-way glass. Vishwa couldn't bear the pain that love of his life accused and arrested by himself. Sarath and Rakshan entered with evidence file which are the evidences against Maya.

Sarath: Machan, nee Inquiry pannuriya?? Naange Inquiry pannada?? (You going to Inquiry her or we both can go?)

Vishwa didn't speak anything. He fetched the file from Rakshan and entered the Interrogation room. Vishwa throw the file on the table. The evidences are spilt from the file. Maya look at the photos of the CCTV footages, Hospital records and look at Vishwa with tearful eyes.

Vishwa: (pleading her) Maya, I'm begging you, tell me what happened??

Maya: Vish.... wa!!! (trying to say something and crying) I was getting ready for my work yesterday morning. At the same time, I. received a call from an unknown number... and...

Suddenly, Vishwa's phone was ringing. He takes out the phone from his pocket see the caller ID it's "Unknown number". Vishwa looked at Maya and shows the phone to see the caller ID. Maya was shocked after seeing the caller ID. Vishwa understands her and went out to pick up the call...

After taking the call, both side in silent and few seconds past...

The unknown person: I TOLD YOU I WILL COME BACK TO RUIN YOUR BEAUTIFUL LIFE. I TOLD YOU, YOU WILL SUFFER A LOT, IF I COME BACK. BY THE WAY HOW IS MA... (with wicked smile)

Vishwa; DON'T YOU DARE TAKE MAYA'S NAME AGAIN. (angrily)

The unknown person: Oops! Sorry for that and sorry again for after this also I am going to take her name daily, so prepare for it, Vishwa. ( laughs)

Vishwa:(sighed) What have you done to Maya??

The unknown person: (laughs) Nothing much. Just a small shock to give you a hint for.

Vishwa: For??(curiously)

The unknown person: For inform that, THE DEVIL IS BACK!!!

(Call ends)
