Jessica: What do you mean that you want to remove yourself from F1 Oliver (CEO of Porsche)?!!!

Oliver: I'm sorry Jessica but Volkswagen does not approve of us being partners with you at all Jessica. Not to mention that you using the Mercedes engine is not going to help your case. I tried to convince them that it was a good idea but their policy and trying to reduce their carbon emission of electric vehicles is not helping as well

Jessica frowned. She should have seen this coming. After all Volkswagen did not take to highly of the fact that they were using the Merc engines, a direct rival competitor to them did not help them as well. She simply signed. She wished Tyler was here to try and help convince them, but she knew deep down it was not going to work.

Jessica: What about the engine and sponsorship?

Oliver: We will continue our partnership into 2018 but majorly diminished as just a sponsor before pulling out. Volkswagen offered to pay the 120 million needed to break the contract and the diminished contract in 2018. As for the engine, because we invested quite a bit of our money into building the engine, they have agreed to finish the engine. We are ahead of schedule Jessica. Rest assured that the engines will be finished and delivered to you. But know that after that you are on your own.

Jessica signed: At least we get to keep the engines we have been developing to say the least.

Jessica walked out of the meeting room. At least there was something positive. They had suck so much money into the engines. But overall, she was dejected. She should have seen this coming but nope she did not at all see it coming. She was going to be bombarded with questions at the next press conference. Now she was even more sure that Daniel Ricciardo would not even sign. Talks with Carlos Sainz have been progressing but nothing to serious yet at the very least. Then Andrea Seidl walked in.

Andrea: So how did the meeting go?

Jessica: Just like you said Andrea. They are leaving F1. So what now, you going to go with them back to the Endurance championship.

Andrea signed: Well, yah. Because of Porsche, I will officially have to leave at the end of the season because of my contract with Porsche until 2018.

Jessica signed: Great. worse news to make my day even worse.

Andrea nodded: I'm sorry Jessica. I truly am. But it's out of my control.

Jessica: I know Andrea. It's not your fault.

Andrea: You think you are qualified.

Jessica: I'm already busy enough as vice-team principal and CEO of Blanc & Eclare so I don't think I'm ready for the job. The next best person in line is James But other that I'm not sure and he is best suited to stay in the technical director role.

Sky Sports: Breaking news. Porsche has decided but virtue of Volkswagen to pull out of f1 before the 2019 season. They will continue into 2018 but as just a sponsor but have said they will finish the engines they and Blanc & Eclare have developed together since the start of the 2017 season with Blanc & Eclare in negotiating to acquire the Porsche engines. In addition, Andrea Seidl has been announced to leave Blanc & Eclare after this season I'm in a bit of disbelief.

Reporter: Celes what has your reaction been to the news of Porsche withdrawing from F1.

Celes signed: Well to say the least it was shocking but at the same time I should not have been surprised. I contacted the CEO and they said that they wanted to continue but Volkswagen shut them down at very turn. Shame cuz I really like their Porsches. 'laugh in the room' but yah I am keeping my Lamborghinis as they are bought by me. What next. I dunno. I know Andrea and Jessica will pick the correct new man for the job and to succeed Andrea but at the moment I'm just focused on keeping my head down and ending the season off as strong as possible.
