"What are you doing, Kat!" Max's voice hissed at me, I whirled around and came face to face with her, her mouth twisted into an angry snarl and her brown eyes narrowed.
"Who do you think you are? You'll get us killed!" She hissed, I turned my face and ripped my gaze away.
"I'm not letting us suffer anymore. You think I like this!? God, My eyes are killing me! My face is numb.... Max, I know you want to protect them, but this is dangerous. What if they try to fix Iggy next?!" I screamed at her, my heart sped up a beat....
"Wait...Where's iggy!?" I yelled, Darting my eyes around, I didn't see Iggy at all.
"We're already too late...They already took him to test what they did to you on him..." Fang's voice echoed across the room, his hand on my sholder caused me to jump, and I just crashed into his chest, allowing myself to cry.
"This isn't fair! Why does it work for me!? Why do we have to suffer like this!?" I screamed, his hug around me tightened, and I could hear sniffling behind me, I knew it was from Nudge. Max placed her hand on my sholder, and turned me to face her, tears dripped down her face as she cried silently.
"I didn't mean to leave you here when we escaped after we came to save angel. I thought they had killed you, I thought that you were part of a test for us. I'm sorry, Kat. We need your help. If you can see clearly through the darkness, your night vision should be sharper than all of ours." Max sniffled, I took her into a hug and nodded.
"They should be coming back any second, Nudge, get back in the cage. Fang, Kat. Back in yours, Kat, act like you're in pain and you can't see. They wont know what hit them." She said, I nodded and Nudge jumped back in her cage, I bent the bars back into their place and She jumped back into her cage, Fang and I leaped into our cage, and I started screaming.
"F-FANG. I- I CANT SEE!" I screached, I smiled as I convinced myself that it sounded real.
"Kat, C-Calm down!" He yelled, his voice had fear in it, he was a master at personalities.
The door to the hallway kicked open and 6 whitecoats strolled into the room, "What's going on in here!?" They yelled.
"Look at what you did you monsters!" Fang yelled, i felt water fall apon my cheek, and new he was crying.
"Shut it! Give me the girl!" They hissed, "No!" Cried Fang. They tugged my arm and I stumbled up to my feet, I felt a brace snap onto my wrist and my body tensed. Don't tell me she's planing all of this to get me out of the way!! My mind screached at me, I pulled my grip back and I heard Fang stand in the cage.
"Give her back!" He yelled, All seriousness in his voice.
"Open your eyes! Let us see!" They yelled at me, I pulled my face back away from them and a stickening kick to my stomach made me freeze and feel blood pool into my mouth, I doubled, but they held me, refusing to let me fall. I spit the blood out and opened my eyes weakly. Their faces were staring at me, but I swallowed down my fear and brought tears to my eyes.
"I-I can't see you!" I screamed, It was pure lie, but I dont think they could tell.
"Fool, We're not stupid! We know it worked. Iggy was a success this time!" He yelled. My eyes widened as a punch made contact with my cheek, the door busted open and the light poured into the room, I screamed as the light hit me, blinding me.
"That's your one weakness, Fool. Direct sight with light!" Ari hissed at me, I squinted and felt tears form in my eyes.
"S-Stop it!" I screamed, I didn't hear anyone behind me. Why weren't they helping me!?
Ari grabbed me by my neck and dug his claws in, My eyes widened as my world went black.

"Kat. Kat!" A voice yelled. I opened my eyes to see they world gray. My breathing hiked up and I bolted upright, A gray cloth fell from my face and I was staring at Fang.
"W-What happened.. I mean.." I mumbled. I looked around to see I was in the cave that we had started in. Nudge and the rest were sleeping, Max and Fang stood infront of me.
"But- I -I thought we- Iggy... Eyesight.." I mumbled. They both looked at me with concerned expressions. Fang placed his hand on my forehead.
"She's still got a fever. It's lower than before though." He said, I pushed his hand away and looked around, I squinted to look at the entrance of the cave, but I couldn't see anything. I gave a heavy sigh and plopped down onto the sleeping bag.
"It was so real.." I cried to myself, I curled up on my side and covered my face.
"I'm fine, you should get some sleep." I suggested, Fang pulled his sleeping bag over next to me and layed infront of me, smiling.
"What happened?" He asked, I smiled and sighed.
"You and your different personalities..." I said, Turning so that I was facing the entrance, I closed my eyes, my head was killing me...
"I'm not playing this time... Kat, I'm seriously worried about you..." He said, I looked at him, then looked for Max, She was laying on her sleeping bag now, clearly asleep. I looked at him and his eyes pleaded for me to listen, to understand that he was worried about me. I couldn't force myself to rip my gaze away, I was mesmerized, He grabbed my chin and pulled me closer to him, locking his lips with mine. I closed my eyes, feeling my heart melt. Fang's really liked me... Out of all the pain... Why do I deserve him...? I asked myself, I pulled back and turned around, throwing the blanket over my face.
"I'm fine.... We should get some sleep..." I muttered, I heard him sigh and stand, pulling his sleeping bag back over to the others. I could feel tears coming on but I stopped. A person like you doesn't deserve happiness... I whispered to myself as my mind drifted off into a sleep.
