Aliyah's POV:
***The next day***
Once again, I'm fucking running.
I was in Starbucks grabbing a chai latte for some peace of mind- It's the first weekend of uni and I needed a well deserved break. Anywho, I was just sipping my latte casually walking back to my block when I discovered a road leading to a new part of town that I had never explored.
Now, usually I'm not bothered for adventure but today was an exception. Curiously, I wandered the winding streets, turned one right and two lefts only to be faced with huge neon lights.
The building was a coated in a sleek black colour making the red and blue neon lights shine even brighter. I like bright shiny stuff. In awe, I gravitated towards the building with the utmost interest.
Almost blinding, the lights framed the outside of the building- lining the top and the sides. Unfortunately thick, velvety, red curtains blocked the huge window that would've allowed me to see the insides of the building.
To my surprise the place was pretty deserted. There was nobody entering or exiting the shop. I would've believed it was some abandoned facility if not for the lights.
Examining the building, I found a few fliers stuck to the side of it. Holy shit. It was a strip club- Close to campus and our dorms.
Walking to the back of the club, I eyed the entrance and the cars parked in the car park. Woah. Rich people cars. Yup, this place was legit.
I took a mental note of the name and location of the club and started running.
That pretty much sums up the events that took place for me to now be one block away from my dorm. Mercifully, I manage to balance my drink all the way up the four flights of stairs.
Pacing myself down the corridoor, I take out the set of keys Liv gave me to her dorm. Unlocking the door I push it open with strength that I didn't know I had (thank you caffeine).
"LIV!" I call out for her
"Bedroom," she replies. I make my way to her bedroom to find her sitting at her desk engrossed in a book.
"Liv, get your purse. Come with me," I urge her, grabbing her book out of her hands and throwing it on the bed.
"Heeeyyyy, it was just getting good-"
"You can have sex fantasies later, grab your purse we need to go- right now."
Giving in, she pulls her purse out from the seccond drawer of her desk. Once I set my latte on her desk we make our way to her front door, and then out of the front door.
Little does she know, we are about to go shopping- an activity that she hates dearly yet one that I thrive in.
This should be exciting.
