"You know what... The more I see you with them, the more I think you're so hard to reach."

We're on the beach in the middle of the night, gazing at the stars.

My forehead creased. "With whom?"

"Them," sabi niya sabay turo sa set na di kalayuan kung nasaan kami ngayon.

Hindi na ako kasama sa huling araw ng taping dahil wala na akong part do'n. Si Sylvester at ang iba pa naming mga kasama nalang ang kailangan, kaya sila nalang ang nandoon. But I'm just around here in case they need me.

"You don't have to think that way. I'm here beside you now, Colin." Umayos ako ng upo. "Can't you see? Are you blind?" I joked.

"Yeah, I am blinded by your light," he said meaningfully and then let out a heavy sigh. "I think of you every time I look at the stars because just like them, I can't reach you. You're a star I can't ever have. You're so close to me, but still so far away."

I can't blame him if that's how he feels. I am blinded by my own light, too.

"Should I dye my hair again?" Pag-iiba ko sa usapan. "This color seems to be very striking here in the Philippines."

"Ayos lang naman ang buhok mo. You're giving off a Hollywood vibe to me." He chuckled. "Bakit ka nga pala nagpa-blonde?"

I'm relieved that it's okay with him. I thought he wouldn't like it.

"For a change, I guess. Bagay ba?" I asked shyly.

He nodded. "Gorgeous as always."

I felt my cheeks heated. What he just said was like music to my ears. It's been a long time since he said that to me.

"They're looking at us. Baka kailangan nila ako ro'n," sabi ko. Everyone on the set was staring at us.

"Sige---" He was about to get up when my phone suddenly rang.

"Wait lang." I took my phone out of my pocket and answered the call. "Hello, Aria?"

[M-miss, p-pwede ko po bang makausap si Sir Colin?]

"Yeah, sure." I handed my phone to Colin and he took it. "It's Aria."

"Aria," he said as he put the phone to his ear. "Sa bahay ko? Bakit? Anong nangyari?" He then glanced at me with a fearful expression on his face. "S-sige. A-ako nang bahala sa kanya."

"What did she say?" I asked after he hung up the call.

He got up and then helped me get up as well. "Tara sa bahay," he said, ignoring my query.

"Hindi ako kailangan sa set?"
