It was just another day of work for him.
Wake up early, get some coffee, got too work, work on his computer, have a lunch break, go back too work, go home, and repeat.
But today was different.
For something unexpected had happened.
First lets start from the beginning...
Po is just your average Panda, with a few minor differences. For example he was raised by a goose, he is slightly chubby but slimmer then most pandas, he was the only panda in his city, and he has a little more table manners then most pandas.
Po lived in his own apartment, though small he always found it cozy. It was just enough to him.
But the main reason he got it was because it was close to his job.
Po worked at a company called Excess. He worked a desk job where he mainly focused on the business' income, ensuring that they were earning the estimated amount.
Po held the title of the best employee. He always got the job done perfectly and on time. He was offered a promotion but turned it down.
This surprised a lot of people, especially the person who had offered him the promotion.
Tigress.
"He turned it down?" She asked Viper, her assistant,"Yeah he said that he works as hard as everyone else so he didn't deserve it." The snake replied.
"Huh... Interesting, does he not see how hard he works compared to everyone else? Not to degrade the others but he works harder then most of them combined." Tigress thought for a bit,"Is there a personal issue he has?" She asked Viper.
Viper shrugged,"Last I talked to him he seemed fine."
Tigress took a breath,"Viper can you please call Po to my office please." Viper nodded and proceeded to slither out her door.
And thats where it began...
"Hey Po!" Po spun his chair around and stared at the snake approaching him."Oh hey Viper. Whats up." Po said with a kind smile. "Nothing much, but Ms.Fang would like to see you." Po looked confused,"She wants to see me? Why?" Po asked.
"I think she wants to talk about your promotion." Viper responded.
Po sighed,"If she is trying to offer it again I must kindly refuse." Viper raised a brow at him,"Why?"
"Simple I don't deserve it." Viper was confused but instead of pushing it she just said,"Well you should go tell her that." Po was silent for a bit but then nodded."ok."
Tigress was typing on her computer when she suddenly heard a knock,"Come in." She said without taking her eyes off her screen,"Ms.Fang its me... Po"
"Ah... come in and have a seat." She said looking towards him. Po walked over and sat down,"Ms.Fang... if this is about my promo—" Po
started, But then Tigress cut him off
"Wanna go out somewhere to eat sometime?"
She suddenly asked.
Po froze. He was expecting a lot of things but this wasn't one of them.
"Oh... uh.... Ahem." Po stuttered
"Po you ok?" Tigress asked a bit concerned
"Yeah, mouth is just a bit dry." He said while his brain slowly caught up with the situation.
"Well im not doing anything this week so I guess I can go." Po said while clearing his throat.
"Great! Here is my number. Does 6:00pm on saturday sound fine?" Tigress asked
"Yeah Saturday sounds great." Po responded
