Winter usually was a season of fun. Playing in the snow, singing carols, and celebrating Christmas/ Hanukkah. But it seems that this year was different.
Instead of their regular amount of snow, the valley was hit with a major snow storm that rose the snow by 6 inches.
The poor civilians were locked in their houses cause of it and the same went for our warriors. And to make matters worse the temperature dropped lower than ever, causing the valley to enter what the civilians called, a mini ice age.
Because of this 'mini ice age' our warriors were excused from training, which normally would be considered a blessing to them, but they would much rather be training right now than to sit here and freeze to death.
"I can feel myself turning to a popsicle." Said Crane through his shivering beak.
"I know what you mean, i'm a few snowflakes away from becoming Jack Frost!" Monkey said as he wrapped another blanket around himself.
"How do you think we feel?" Said Mantis who was sitting on Viper's head.
"Unlike you guys we don't have feathers or fur! So we are suffering more than you are!" He yelled.
"Mantis calm down! We are all freezing here, even Tigress!" Viper said motioning to Tigress, who looked toward them and crossed her arms.
"I a-am f-fine." She said trying her best not to shiver.
"Yeah, and I am an eagle..." Crane said sarcastically earning a glare from the Tiger.
"Guys where is Po? I haven't seen him at all this morning." Viper asked as she coiled around Crane for warmth.
"I'm pretty sure the big guy is still sleeping."
Mantis answered.
"In this weather! Thats surprising..." Crane said.
"Yeah, isn't he cold?" Monkey asked the group who all shrugged in response.
Po suddenly walked into the kitchen with a yawn as he stretched. Walking to the table he looked around at everyone who just seemed to be staring at him.
"What did I miss?" He asked confused.
"Well we were just talking about you sleeping." Mantis simply told him.
"Uh... I'm going to need more context than that because it just sounds creepy." Po told them a little weirded out.
"We were just wondering how you were able to sleep in this temperature." Viper explained to him.
"Oh... well I mean... Its not that cold..." Po said earning a glare from everyone.
"Or maybe it is..." he said quietly.
"Well actually maybe its my fur. Because of it, its actually pretty warm." Po told them.
"Tigress and Monkey also have fur yet even they are freezing!" Crane said motioning to the pair.
"Huh... That is a fair point... Well then I don't know."
"I think I know..." Tigress said walking up to him.
Once she was in front of him she poked his stomach,
"Its because of this..." she said smirking.
"Haha... very funny..." Po said fake laughing.
"Actually she has a point, extra *ahem* muscle can help with warmth." Viper said wisely.
"Viper its ok... just call it fat." Po said with a sigh.
