I grunted as my body connected with the smooth surface of the training mats, my father bouncing on the balls of his feet. His face was stoic as usual, but with the occasional bruise or cut developing due to our current session. Today he was unmerciful in his training and I was yet to do my core training. Placing my palms face down on the mat, I pushed myself into a sitting position, hissing as a sharp painful jolt stabbed at my neck.
"Father, I can't spar, I need to do my core training" my soft Polish accent was more noticeable than usual, meaning I was finding it hard to keep my cool. His hold my neck didn't loosen, he just turned me around to face him. His face was hard but in his eyes I could see them tinted with worry. He hoisted me up before letting go, and dismissing me with a nod towards the gym.
"I need to address the Aeon's, I will be back in three hours for you. We must attend a meeting for the participants of the Final Judgement" knowing he meant it in a friendly manner, my father's dangerously curt voice reverberated in the training arena before he dematerialised into thin air. This was new information, and being the moron I am, I left the core training and went straight to the main House to start preparing. I need to keep a good appearance and I need time for that.

I stared into the full length mirror that covered most of my bedroom wall, making sure I was presentable for the meeting. My hair was swept to the left, tumbling gently down my shoulder in beach waves, my makeup was basic but brought out my facial features. My cheekbones were swept with a soft blusher, my eye shadow a creamy colour tinged with burgundy with simple winged eyeliner. My eyelashes were as dark as my heart and as long as the list of people I hate, my red lips bringing the makeup out even more but not in an un-lady like manor.
My outfit was elegant, but yet again was beautiful in it's simplicity. The silky black fabric of my dress brushed softly against my legs, the top half of my dress was in the style of a corset with a sweetheart neckline. It was accompanied with a pair of plain black pumps, and with one last glance I left the room with my dress flowing slightly behind me with the speed I exited. A very annoyed looking Father stood at the front door but the second he saw me coming down the stairs it softened to a small smile.
"It's being held in the Dining Room" he murmured, linking his arm with mine before sweeping into the room all the candidates were seated. We sat at the very top of the table, with the Aeon's to the left of my father and the Archei sitting along side me on the right. My mother happened to be the Archei of Life, so she sat right beside me, clasping my hand tightly.
"Candidates, Families of the Aspects, Aeon's and Archei, welcome to my home. You all know of the Final Judgement begins in three days, when the Full Moon is here" his voice held authority, pride and a tinge of smugness as he projected his voice across the huge dining table, "I have been speaking with the Aeon's, and we have decided that the Final Judgement will not be held in Afterlife. Instead, it is being held on Sanctus Peccatores."
Gasps and murmurs broke out quietly, the Aeon's and Archei talking like they didn't decide to probably send at least 50% of us to our demise. That place is dangerous for angels, so I'm curious to why we are doing it there. Food was served, and beverages brought out and to be completely honest. I got absolutely smashed.
