Stars tell lies

Machi argued with Chrollo for letting me help sence I am so young. He simply smiled and listened to what she had to say. At this point it was about 9 pm and it was dark outside.

"Oh I forgot I have to meet someone I will be back later." I said to everybody at the hideout. "It might be dangerous for you to be out there by yourself machi or feitan can go with you." Chrollo said right before I left. I smiled "uh I think I will be fine but thank you I'll be right back!" I called out while running out the door.

I made my way to the city and started walking around in the area that I saw that blond boy Kurapika. I saw that one girl I had saw before and then kurapika came outside of the building and walked over to me. "Hey." I said as he handed me a piece of paper which I knew it was the Fortune he then walked away.

I decided not to read it until I got back and I also decided that I might as well do my job I was hired to do.

I saw a bunch of people walk into a building and I realized that this was going to be the location of the auction and I decided to sneak in and climbed to a balcony like area inside and I looked around and saw the man I was targeting and realized that this job would be hard to do and I would have people fight back against me. I brought out my fan and confetti and made my confetti hard as steal and I used my aura to make it go down and slit the mans throat. I began to run to a nearby window and jumped through it breaking the glass. I began to feel thrill as I began running from what could be my death if I made a wrong move. I got infront of the building and took a left running down a street.

I ran down that street and turned into a alleyway. I was laughing while catching my breath from the run. I ran till I thought I got far enough away and stoped to take a breather. I then sat down on the ground of the ally and started laughing. I was so energetic and happy. I looked up at the sky and saw some stars and took some breaths. At this point a smile was on my face.

I got up and began walking back to the hideout. I still felt the thrill from being on the run and knowing I could have died. I arrived after about 5 minutes of walking.
I walked into the hideout and everyone looked at me strange. I looked down and saw I had dirt on my kimono. "Glad your finally back." Chrollo said in a calm tone. I smiled and I wanted to get a good look at the stars so I went to the roof and sat down. I looked up and I couldn't help but feel happy. The cool wind blowing against me softly while I stared at the stars felt right to me for some reason.

I heard someone walk up to me and sit beside me. I looked over and saw Pakunoda. "Hey darling." She said to me while looking up at the stars. I smiled and said "hey paku." Pakunoda looked at me and put her arm around my shoulder "I'm wondering where did you go? You don't have to tell me it's just you came back filthy." I continued looking up at the stars. "I was out for a family thing." I said to her and when I said that all the memories of home came rushing back. Memories of Alluka, memories of me being tortured, memories of my brothers ignoring me. Everything good I felt tonight was washed away and I started releasing a very sad aura.

Paku asked if I was fine and I lied saying I was okay she then began asking about home where I kept lying about everything. Paku then left leaving me on the roof to keep stargazing. Tears began rushing down my face as I realized soon I would return home back to the constant cycle of abuse.
