A training day had come. Reyes would teach any new agents anything they need to know about the dangerous field they would be fighting in. The room was split into sections. A hand on hand combat area, a shooting area, and a beginners training area. Angela was placed into the beginners area for tests and evaluation on what she knew and what her abilities were. She was given some time to stretch and prepare herself for anything.
"We are testing your strength. We will meet in this section everyday. Weekly evaluations are required for now. As you get comfortable here, these evaluations will come at longer periods of time. Every agent has an evaluation weekly, then every two weeks, then monthly, and yearly. I decide if I want you in my sector with time and you will decide if you want to work with me or Morrison." She nodded to show she understood. "Let's get started." He grinned and grabbed a few weights. "Choose your comfortable range. You can try each but only choose the heaviest one you can hold for long periods of time." She did as she was instructed and grabbed what she knew was comfortable. This test would go in for some time, going from stretch to stretch trying to find the right weight. They eventually found the perfect one. "There's always room for improvement." She was run though everything she needed to do each day to improve her strength. Reyes decided to lead her to a new area to practice combat.
Walking to the combat area, anyone would pass the shooting range. Angela glanced over at the glass to see what was around. She saw the cowboy she had just met and stopped. She was curious. He did say something about targets when they were meeting. She wanted to see if this was what he meant. Moving targets were hit. Critical spots were never missed to what she saw. "Miss Ziegler." Reyes called when he realized she wasn't following. She snapped her attention back to the man calling her name. "Sorry." He walked back to her. He looked in to see who was in at the moment. "He must've told you about what he can do. Reflexes too fast, loading a gun in seconds, never missed a shot. Or he hasn't since joining that gang." A bullet went towards the glass they were looking out of. Angela ducked and hid her head. Cole could be seen with a grin. The glass was bulletproof and tinted so anyone in the training area couldn't see who was looking in. They didn't want distractions when it came to someone with a gun. "He can also apparently see our silhouettes. He knows not to do that to me, but he doesn't know about you." Reyes noticed where the bullet hit. The glass had a red tint where it hit. Angela came back up and looked at where the commander was looking. It would've hit her shoulder. It was a test. She stepped back and Cassidy got back to the targets he was shooting before. Reyes let out a laughing grunt and started away. She followed him to the area they would be in. She was told where everything was and was given permission to enter this area when she felt the need to.
A little bit of time passed and Angela saw the cowboy and decided to have a word with him about what he did earlier that day. "Who do you think you are?" She sounded furious. "You're fun to mess with." Cassidy grinned. He knew exactly what she was mad about. Reyes watched their interaction but ended up walking away. "I am not a toy to play with. You will not shoot a bullet at me if you want treatment for any wounds. Good luck dying without the technology I have." She was not pleased with what he said and wouldn't be any time soon. "You don't get it, do ya?" She interrupted him. "I don't care what you did in your gang, you clearly weren't enough to not get caught. You threatened a medic and that will not be tolerated." His attitude quickly changed. "You think I didn't mean to get caught? I got caught to leave that gang. You don't know what I've done and what I've sacrificed for a second chance of redemption and I will not let this chance be ruined by a damn medic who can't keep her temper." Their argument went on. "So I am the bad one when I was shot at by you?" He put his hands up in defense. "It was a test. You don't know what you're doing or talking about." Reyes came back and stepped in, seeing them at each other's throats. "Enough. If you have anger to beat out of each other, go to the designated area for that. I don't want to deal with Morrison on me again." Cassidy glared at him. "Shut it, old man. This ain't about you." The commander took Cole's arm and dragged him away. Angela refused to look at him as he was leaving.
They were taken to an office and Cassidy was forced to sit. "I can send you right back to that prison cell to rot for the rest of your life. You disrespect a new agent who knows nothing about you. You talked once before doing your little act. Then you both start a fight and dare talk to me with that attitude you had for her. You will go out and apologize for your bullet test. Nobody likes a bullet coming towards them, even if there is safely gear in the way. I will have a talk with her, you need to think about your actions." He walked towards the door. Cassidy stood up and followed.
Meanwhile, Angela found her way back to the combat area and found a training bag. Shaped as a human, just as she wanted. She had a lot of pent up anger she needed to get out. "Stupid cowboy-" she hit the side of the 'humans' head. She smiled at how this felt. "-you feel the need to mess with me." She struck it again. She fixed her stance for an easier way for her next hit. She lead in with her elbow to its jaw and came back with a punch to the cheek. "You know I hate it." She kicked up to its head. She brought her leg back and kneed it. "And yet I can't stop thinking about you." She sighed. She let the training bag fix itself.
Reyes brought Cassidy back to where she was left. He did a quick check the training rooms but didn't say anything, for a reason. He knew she was in one. "Don't move." He demanded to the cowboy. Reyes walked away in the direction of Angela's office. He wanted to make it clear he had somewhere to be. Cassidy heard a quiet voice from one of the rooms. He looked down the hall to make sure his commander wasn't coming back. He walked over to see which room that voice was in. He saw Angela beating a training bag in the first room he looked in. He stayed and watched her anger, only for a moment. He started walking to the door in. He had to be quiet.
"I refuse to believe that is what I want. We just met." She didn't hit the bag that time. "I thought you were actually trying to know me and you threaten and disrespect." She punched at the neck.
Cassidy made it to the door and entered. He had to be careful and quiet here. He started towards her.
"Stupid boy!" She was careful not to be loud with what she said but this had to be yelled in order to get her point across in her mind.
Cole moved only when there was noise. He continued over to her until he was right there. "Well now, who's the stupid boy?" He asked. She quickly turned to the voice. She didn't answer. She didn't want the backlash from telling him. He was expecting an answer. "Leave me alone." She took a deep breath and faced away. "You have anger that I want to help with." He sounded calm and relaxed. "Come on. He did say we can fight it out and I caused your anger." She glanced back slightly just enough to see him. She sighed and turned all the way around to face him. "You first."
